TeamHorizon's XenonHD rom builds for Samsung Galaxy TAB 3.8.0 (SM-T310)
http://www.xenonhd.com/

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 14.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".

Flashing Instructions:

To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP installed.
  1. Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone.
  2. Boot into your recovery
  3. Back up your ROM
  4. Enter recovery
  5. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
  6. Install the ROM
  7. Install GAPPS package
  8. Reboot - the first boot can take up to 5 minutes

Works well with dirty flash and nano gapps.
Except for the WiFi, which uses random mac addresses. My modem does not accept different addresses than my hard coded tablet address. You might want to change that in the next update. I had to restore my RR582 backup to write this message.
Also there is less memory (Ram) free than with RR582.
But generally its a nice rom. Greetings and thank you for this rom.

In the wireless and network options, click more and there should be a toggle for randomize mac addresses

Yeah, found that toggle and closed it but it doesn't return to the hard coded Mac address but to the last random Adress. Couldn't connect to the modem. But anyway thanks for the help.

hi...installation on my tab 3 works perfect....performance is absolutly the best...but without wlan :crying:

My Wlan works perfect. Just reflash the zip.

But this time first flash xenonhd, then boot up and after that flash gapps. Should work this time ;)

I installed the ROM 2 days ago and i must say, that you did everything right.

Its so fast and so smooth. 10 times better then stock. I really love how i got around 900mb free Ram, when i use it. On stock i had around 500, even with greenify on.
Battery is a beast. Didnt charge it since Saturday and it still has 50%.

But i guess i found a bug. I installed greenify and first it worked really good but then i get errors. It says it couldnt hibernate apps. Any fixes?

Everything else is delicious ;) Keep up the good work

Anyone have the 08/16 experimental version installed? If so how is it? Thanks for a great ROM!

Sent from my Nexus 6 using XDA-Developers Legacy app

I did, dirty flash it but I don't feel any difference. Need to see changelog to what been updated

the wifi was ok with stock rom and omni rom
no wifi with cm, crdroid and lineage

I have attached a zip file with a macloader binary file in it.

Replace the current macloader file in /system/bin with the one in the attached zip.
Set permissions to match current file and reboot and test wifi.

This macloader binary is compiled after removing your mac half-address from the header file.
