TeamHorizon's XenonHD rom builds for Moto Z Play (addison)

XenonHD is a custom firmware aka ROM for various Android devices. It is based on LineageOS 14.1 with additional features, performance and battery life improvements.
The idea behind XenonHD is to give users a ROM that is "blazing fast, rock stable and buttery smooth".​

Flashing Instructions:

To install this ROM you will need to have a latest custom Recovery such as TWRP installed.

1. Copy the downloaded ROM to your phone.
2. Boot into your recovery
3. Back up your ROM
4. Enter recovery
5. Make a full wipe (system, data, cache, dalvik)
6. Install the ROM
7. Install GAPPS package
8. Reboot - the first boot can take up to 5 minutes

Thanks for the beautiful work.
For me the Rom is almost perfect ... no major bugs. To make it really perfect, you should replace the classic navbar settings with those smartbar + pulse, replacing the green setting icon with the blue icon..add screen recorder to powermenu.

Root?

Ive downloaded root checker it says that phone isnt properly rooted. I also cannot seem to find it in developers option either. So far Ive found this rom to be pretty great, but Im concerned about my root permissions.

How to correctly root Xenon HD ROM:

Download Magisk13.0 here;
Reboot to twrp.
Mount system.
Go to advanced, file manager.
Find magisk folder in /system/app and delete it.
Go back.
Go to install and flash magisk13.0
Reboot.
Download Magisk Manager from here.
Now you can find Magisk installed with root acces.

It seems that Magisk v12 isn't able to pass SafetyNet check anymore due to recents Google's changes. We're waiting a new stable release, I hope you'll apologies us.

Yes latest google updates broke magisk 12 safety net but 13 is patched to pass on 12 you must go core only to pass safety net
