Portrait mode gone for anyone in Camera?
No Needed to Format your Phone if you followed this my this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/guide-flash-community-pie-rom-losing-t3922902
I just installed from Havoc OS to Official Pie without losing internal data,(No need to format Whole phone, & It will boot up much faster)
Why should we have to follow a guide, it should just flash and be done. It's an update. Don't have any mods installed really, just Magisk.

I tried to go back completely stock, but I'm stuck with open bootloader and fastboot oem lock does not lock it. I also get the dm-varity when booting. Other than that I now have stock recovery and official 9.0.2 OOS. But I would like to get rid of dm-varity and would like to lock bootloader. Any ideas how to do these?

Will the release of Community spending continue after the stable 9.0.2 OOS release?
Currently I use CB2 9.0.1 Oxygen OS with open bootloader, Magisk. You can safely install the 9.0.2 stable version without losing data, since the internal storage has been formatted and encrypted when CB1 is installed?
CB2 could be installed without formatting or factory reset.
If you still have Community Build, will you be able to get back after the stable 9.0.2 installation?

In TWRP I get error 7 before installation: this device is unlocked: bootstate
So I can't even install the zip in TWRP... Any way to bypass? I've made a full backup of everything so I don't mind a factory reset...

I did read up on that, but the whole idea of that guide is to reinstall the old bootloader after you already installed the new one.
Thing is I can't even install the new one as TWRP is giving error 7: "this device is unlocked: bootstate" when I try to install the update zip.

So yes, I actually ignore step 1, but I shall try formatting system and data later tonight when I'm home to see if that makes any difference, although I'm not sure how this zip checks the bootstate issue. After I'll wipe data and system my bootloader will still be unlocked...

Ps: using TWRP bluspark version.

EDIT:

Just extracted the updater-script and it clearly states:

getprop("ro.boot.verifiedbootstate") == "green") || abort("E3005: This Device is unlocked;bootstate: "" + getprop("ro.boot.verifiedbootstate") + ""; sdk version: "" + getprop("ro.build.version.sdk") + "".");

Seems like I have to relock my bootloader to get it installed. Or there may be another TWRP version that ignores these checks.

Only twrp 3.3.0.1 will flash the latest pie build.

Hi,
I have just downloaded the full zip with the Oxygen Updater 3rd party app and it warns me that with unlocked bootloader there is still a bug in the ROM that will not be able to successfully decrypt the internal storage and that I need to factory reset my device. Is it true? Do I need to factory reset after flash? Can this be bypassed?
I have twrp 3.3 and device encrypted.
Thanks.

this stock rom is so slow and full of lags. fingerprint sensor is VERY slow. oos on oreo was WAY better. Is there any other recommended kernel for OOS Pie?

Still no update via VPN - Germany etc.
I tested Pie on the OP3 of my friend, there is still a delay when unlocking with a fingerprint. I hope that this is not the last build and will issue an amendment.

A kernel will not solve slow fingerprint issue, FYI. It can solve the lag issues though. The official sources are not yer published, but you can try mcd kernel which claims to run fine on Pie OOS.
