Installation instructions so If installing for the first time:


To install this ROM you will need to have an unlocked boot loader and a custom Recovery such as TWRP or ClockWorkMod installed

1. Copy the downloaded AOSB to your phone.
2. Make sure you are either on any KitKat ROM (CM11, etc) or on 4.4.2 Sony based ROM and NOT on 4.3 (or older) Sony based ROM
3. Boot into your recovery
4. Back up your ROM (Recommended)
5. Make full wipe "included "system"
   
   [*]Select Recommended kernel for first install
6. Install the ROM
7. install GAPPS package - download it from here
8. Reboot - the first boot can take up to 2 minutes
9. Recommended to Reboot again after ROM is up for the first time
10. 2 second to up ! and 1 second to restart or shutdown ! it is AOSB

FAQ and Know issues:

device speaker is low
AOSB kernel support boeffla sound engine and AOSB DSP Mananger has (built-in) boeffla control for enable speaker tunning

after dirty flash the device hangs and systemui make force close
you need to make wipe all and clean cache and make fresh install in this case

when try video recoding the device freeze or slow down
screen video record with ondemand or pegasusq governors u will have a laggy recorded video. If you try with performance governor from performance in settings , then the video will be a lot smoother.

Camera crashing some times and not works anymore "camera not connected"
the rom included an small application "camera restart" you can use it for fix this issue

titanium recovery not restore my applications
For those who cannot find their previous files, because CM based rom will target the sdcard storage to use root/0/ directory.
So normally all the files besides the root/0/ directory will not be shown on the file explorer.
To solve this, you will need a file browser that has ROOT capability, eg. Root Explorer
then go to mnt/shell/emulated/ all your file should be here.
Now move all the files into mnt/shell/emulated/0/ folder.
Should solve the problem.

Privacy guard IS working?
after enabling privacy guard in security settings
you have to switch to settings>apps and then choose to enable or disable each app individually.
I'm sure nobody would want to tick every single app, that would almost be the same as enabling airplane mode.

To Get Best Battery Life:

if you have stock/custom kernel use trickster mod

Set CFQ Or FIOPS with pegasusq

FIOPS is the new default scheduler, it's a CFQ like fairness scheduler optimized for solid state storage.
ROW should be the actual better performer here as it has superior logic, but I didn't set it as default because of some lags when installing applications.
ZEN is just a mix of SIO and Deadline and nothing special.
BFQ seems to underperform. I recommend the first two over everything else, and added the latter two just for comparison's sake.

though i was wondering, can anyone tell me how to start the slider torch? i can't find what the slider is...i thought it was the lock symbol at the center of the unlocking circle but that's not it and maybe also a mod to a different camera? D don't love the stock android one.

Anyone else other than me having issues with this latest release?

Problem I have is that I cant download anything from google play as it throws me a 491 error.
Tried removing google account, rebooting, clearing data and cache from google play services etc

Redownloaded rom and google apps a few times and reinstalled even more times but still same issue.

Just made a clear install of stock sony .108 rom and made yet another install of AOSB but still problems.

Also noticed that I cant download anything from the browser either, tried with both wifi and LTE but no go


Havent seen any reports on their FB or G+ but rom is still very new and z1c is a smaller audience than the other phones

ART, and play store error are common bugs in AOSB 1.3.7 but the browser issue is new to me,
Will have to wait for their next release, these bugs should be fixed.
