[OFFICIAL] Android 6.0 Marshmallow Thread

Last year they seemed to stop sending Lollipop updates for a few months (at least BTU) until Marshmallow came out. It wouldn't surprise me a similar pattern this year.

Happened for ITV as well, last update before MM was in october, then they started again monthly to release the security patches, now i think they will release november and then stop again until Nougat in march.

Looks like the s6 will either get nougat or Dec Jan security patch love how Samsung keep us updated to what's going on NOT. S6 pushed to the back while s7 is at the front but same will happen when s8 comes out the s7 will be pushed to the back.

I'm coming from LG world (had G3, just bought S6, Hi bdw) and they promised the same. Last official update for G3 was on August if I remember correctly. So don't bother.

Hello.. so France have January's latest security patch... if we in the U.K. Flashed the firmware from Sam mobile G920FXXU5DQA7, would we brick our device??

No you want brick your device if you do it properly...
My phone was originaly on xeh(hungary) now its on xef and i receive regulary new otas...

I had sms notification issues. It didn't notify Me about incoming sms. I realised I had sms after looking at sms app.
