I can confirm that my system image is Read-only while running. In TWRP it is perfectly accessible and writable. Idk what more i can do, but i want to stay on OOS.

Can you flash v18.1 zip on top of it again via custom TWRP i use? I linked it in an earlier post of mine. Honestly, I can't think of a reason it wouldn't work after flashing it via twrp.

Yes just did it. Holyangel recovery right? No root again.

Yes, no problem here, flashed with TWRP 3.2.3-10 and flashed magisk before rebooting, everything works fine.

That is really weird. You can boot into twrp and ROM fine so I don't see where the issue is. Can you take a log or click a picture of the Magisk flashing process? Maybe some error is mentioned there which isn't letting you flash it.

Alright gonna give it an other try then. Flashed the Pie OOS now via TWRP at around 11.20 german time. If its not getting over the boot animation by like 12.00 german time im gonna reply again.

Alright been letting it go an hour now. Still in the boot animation.

This has been discussed in length in the Leak build thread.
I flashed it clean, and it was same for me, it's not encrypting anything. The solution is after you flash the zip, boot to bootloader, flash the stock OP3 recovery, then factory reset from there, it should work fine after that.
You can reflash TWRP once it's booted.

Alternate Method:
If you currently have an unlocked bootloader, just flash stock OOS zip on twrp and let it reboot to system. It will automatically flash the stock recovery if you don't flash magisk before rebooting. Here is OOS 5.0.8 zip link for OP3T:

To relock bootloader:
Backup your internal memory, make sure you are stock firmware and stock recovery, boot to fastboot mode, connect your device and in CMD window, make sure your device is detected using fastboot devices command.

Once you have your device confirmed to be connected, just input this command:
fastboot oem lock

The reason I'm sharing this here again is: not every OnePlus 3 user checks 3T forums but I feel this is one feature everyone would love to have that OnePlus obviously didn't give us because of our screen ratio
Now, I see a lot of people (probably you guys too?) like the Pill Navigation Bar of Pie instead of simple buttons but as our OnePlus 3/T is 16:9 so OnePlus disabled it for us. I love them too so I was experimenting and here are the steps:

1. To enable Pill Navigation like AOSP Pie (Swipe up on Home Button)
• Open terminal and put this simple command

adb shell settings put secure swipe_up_to_switch_apps_enabled 1

1 means Pill is enabled, 0 means it's stock (disabled).
2. To enable OnePlus's gestures like OnePlus 5T+ devices
• Download QuickStep Magisk module and enable it.
• Download OnePlus Launcher port by @paphonb (Link below)
• Install it and then open Quickswitch app from stock OnePlus launcher and set the Recents Provider as the new modded OnePlus Launcher.
• Don't set the new one as default launcher yet.
• Reboot and select the modded launcher as Home now and you'll get the working gestures

It's tested by me, took a bit of time but it finally works and we can enjoy the gestures Will add screenshots and video to enable them soon if you guys want.

I'm also attaching the launcher here for the people who don't use Telegram. But for updates, keep an eye on that channel.

If you are on stock rom 5.0.8 with unlocked bootloader and latest twrp 3.3.0.1 installed.you can install community beta pie without losing data by this trick I tested.
In twrp 3.3.0.1 advance wipe dalvik cache, cache ,data ,system.
Then flash community pie rom. After flashing don't reboot. Flash this

Then you can reboot. It will boot up faster and no data loss.

WiFi on, data on, the pages doesn't load, googoe play stays white, YouTube is the same and the data meter measures speed at 2.00b/ on my other devices the WiFi and data (same used) is ok...
Thats my experience I'll be going back to sky dragon to make my phone usable, I tried wiping cache and reflash but it's the same.

Having a similar problem here actually as I just flashed it last night. Wifi at home is slow as hell, 4G/3G is serviceable but still significantly slower than normal.
