Alright, we're getting there!

Great work - I like it and will likely stick with it for a while. My only issue - which is something I see in a lot of themes perhaps because it is difficult to change/fix - is the Media scanning/Media scanning completed icons...I'd like them to match the Preparing mass storage icon. Obviously, this is just a personal preference; I just don't like the stock icons. ;)

Well I have a two themes for you today. The first is a stock gingerbread theme, and the second is a red gingerbread theme. DO NOT FLASH THIS IF YOU HAVE 2.00 this will only work on 1.00. That being said here it goes.

RedGinger

NOTE: If you are using this version do not updated the Gingerbread launcher or you will loose the red icons in the dock.

Thanks

Thanks goes to Fritzgerald for working out the XML problems.

You can fix this yourself if the theme you apply doesn't have it done. It's pretty simple.

Copy both /system/framework/framework-res.apk and /system/app/MediaProvider.apk to your desktop.

Open framework-res.apk in 7zip or winrar and browse to /res/drawable-hdpi(or drawable-hdpi-v4) and extract "stat_notify_sdcard_prepare.png" to your desktop.

Open MediaProvider.apk in 7zip or winrar and browse to /res/drawable-hdpi(or drawable-hdpi-v4) and copy the "stat_notify_sdcard_prepare.png" you extracted from framework-res.apk into the folder overwriting the PNG already in the apk.

Close 7zip or winrar and put the modded MediaProvider.apk back into the /system/app/ folder on your phone overwriting the current one and reboot.

That's it. Icon is changed.

P.S. This is in no way meant as a smart ass comment. Only there to help.

As each theme as its own bugs who votes we have a separate thread for each theme but keep everything else in this thread?
Nah, it won't work. Some people will post there and some people will still post here. It will be a mess. If this thread gets really big then we should consider it again, but for now I don't think it's that bad.

I agree with this 100%. The confusion in this thread will get crazy. I had attempted to have people pm me instead of adding to the clutter but no one did. In the future im just going to post in the actual themes thread.

p.s. thank you to anyone that did test. any new information -------------> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=918057

ok it is official. Everyone copy your theme posts over to a different thread. at the end of tonight I will have a MOD clear out the old thread so it will just be for wallpapers and boot animations

Thanks Fritz! I will give it a try.

--Edit--

That's why I love this forum. I never stop learning on here. Fritz, as I'm sure you knew already, it worked! Thanks again bro!

--Edit--

You've opened up a whole new world for me. I've been annoyed by the lack of 4 "bars" for the WiFi signal icons and didn't want to change to another modem since the stock was made for this phone. So, I went in and replaced the 2 & 3 bar icons with the 4; I only care to know if I'm down to 1 "bar".

--Edit--

LOL. And then it occurred to me I could do the same with the signal bars; once again, I don't care if I go down to 3 bars, just 2 or 1. :D

Hey guys, having a little trouble here. Just flashed andromeda 2.0 and I'm in love with the orange theme; especially the wallpaper. I went hunting through the rom zip file, to make a copy of the wallpaper for myself. I wanted it for future flashes. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Does anyone know where the default wallpaper is stored, or another place I can get it?

Thanks

I will make the mods I posted public in the next day or two for anyone that's interested. I'm still learning android after 2 years of making themes for BlackBerry. It seems that making framework themes is by far the most complete and custom way to develop themes but I'm new to a lot of this so bear with me :)
