x.1 is very old.

I would upgrade that to 3 if I were you.

Do you *just* get the CDRom?

In my case, I get a CDRom, and two more drives. ("external" and "internal" SDs). Other than the cosmetics of an "unusable" CD drive, I have no problems using the other two to transfer files.

I had something similar briefly when plugged into my powered USB hub. Worked fine when I plugged directly to my computer.

My keyboard and mouse also plugged into the same hub started malfunctioning. I think my hub is going bad.

Is it safe to flash the Darkness theme over Andromeda 3? I would think it would be, but I find its always better to ask, rather than be made a fool of.

The Andromedena Tek Galaxy theme works with A3. I have been using it since A3 was released. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=949491

I have not tried that theme, but if it worked on X.1 versions, it should work on A3. Try it! At worst you will have to reflash A3.
