I am detailing the steps by using ES File Explorer:
1) Grant root access to ES File Explorer by Checking the "root explorer" meanu in the sidebar.
2) Goto /etc/ and hold the hosts file for a second to bring up the options.
3) Goto properties and give the permissions by checking on rw - rw- rw-.
4) Enable Ad Blocking by the settings or Adaway.

Personally I am not working on M. I am just a device maintainer. It should be ready to go hopefully soon.

Use the test one. Its far better than stable one. I am using the test one near to a month. Comfortable and running smoothly . Thumbs up to Banks .

Use test version instead of stable one as it has SOD bug sometime. Also turn off ambient display under the display settings if you facing SOD in test version.

The only bug I have noticed which is when the caller put speaker during the call, the other party can't listen it. However the call will be working fine normal with earphones and both party can listen. Battery also good , you might have to calibrate the battery if there is any sudden drop in battery level after the flash. search for a battery calibrator app and install it then do calibrate and its done. Thanks to Banks for this ROM development   ....Cheers

Yes, agree with the speaker call bug. Btw, I did get SOD on test build with Ambient Display disabled, not sure how and why

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I have decided to stop maintaining cancro for DU. I got the point where I got tired of all the people messaging me, emailing me, and pming me demanding everything under the sun from me. This isn't my job and I refuse to let it turn into one. I have an outside life outside from android and I refuse to let my hobbies interfere with it. With that said I will continue to be around in the background helping out here and there and also I will continue with GApps as well.
