Can someone please respond that is using 1440p, 120hz, and basically normal settings beyond that? Like Bluetooth, Wifi on, mixed use on Wifi and 5g and tell me the kind of battery life you're getting, maybe a screenshot and screen on time?
On the s22 Ultra right now, I love the phone, the battery life stinks.

Battery life with S23 Ultra is soooo much better than S22 Ultra.
Here's today...about what you listed + I use Light mode in Performance Profile and Battery Guardian mode (Good Lock) in which I put some apks in 60hz...full batt up to 85%...

Wow, that is fantastic compared to mine. I did order one. The battery life was the only thing stopping me from keeping the s22 for like 2-3 years, hopefully the s23 does a better job. Thank you!
I'm using dual sim in the US. Light profile activated, QHD 120hz, auto sync off, disabled most google apps and dont allow alot of location permissions. And my phone can last 1.5 days to 2 days on a single charge.

I've had the S23 Ultra since launch day and this is one of the best phone Samsung has put out in a while. I came from the s21 Ultra which was a very good phone but the battery life on this thing is insane. I'm including an extended screenshot and this is just moderate use but still I could easily get 10 hours on screen time and I haven't put this on a charger in over 4 days.

Well I do have that app called Galaxy Max Hz which allows me to change my refresh rate to 96 instead of 120. And then I have it set to 10 Hertz with screen off plus it's got a doze mode built into the app and I do have quite a few notifications turned off but I always have sync on and location is always on. Plus I also removed a bunch of apps using ADB commands so they weren't running in the background and I am still one of those few that use greenify because now it works even better with the shizuku manager.
I've resisted the urge to take the plunge towards Galaxy Hz app this long...Since this is a native 120 hz display, restricting it to 96 hz could mean choppy animations? Is this true?
Leave it at 120hz. Battery life is already great. Or use the light mode if you need even more.
No it will work as before. 96Hz is pretty snappy too. But I agree with comment above there is no need for that 96Hz setting. Personally I'm using Galaxy Hz app for screen-off mods: 10hz always on display, extended doze mode and power saving mode(whenever I turn screen on power saving mode turns off). That increased my standby time.

Dont know how big the Hit is :s but think s good hour of SOT... Im only using 4g cause 5g in germany isnt the best... Overall the cpu is very good but the high clocks destroying the efficiency... -

Do not forget to disable all smart features as well, use it on lowest brightness available, only 2G, lowest resolution available. Or even better buy nokia phone with buttons. You'll be amazed with 1month battery.

38% left and 5hours SOT is pretty good. You can't compare directly your sot to other people. They are not using their phone same as you, they don't have same exact apps inside their phone, they don't live in your area(cellular strength), they don't use same settings as you.3
Depends if you need Google backup, I don't. Disable Google Framework and Backup Transport if you don't use Google backup. Playstore is another I disable and OTA updates.Will try that overnight
What puzzles me is the amount of battery used in "deep sleep"....guess it's not that deep anymore.

Google Firebase is another one if you don't use it, all Google/manufacter/app/carrier feedback as well. Even with all the above disabled, temporarily disabling Google play Services will yield another 1% or so an hour SOT.
Note: Gmail is a dependency of Google play Services. Gmaps needs it for some functions.
I don't update or upgrade, this is one reason why.
A fast, stable platform that fulfills its mission is all that matters. When you screw with the firmware you change the playing field for better or all too often worse. Arbitrarily doing updates/upgrades is a losing proposition as far as I'm concerned.
This stock N10+ is still running quit well on Pie; last update was 11.2019, last factory reset was over 3 years ago. No malware since the last reset. Even on an old battery rated at about 3500 mAh it's getting about 10 hours SOT. I like that.
Anything from Android 9* and above is relatively secure unless you do stupid things.
*there was a huge hole in Android 12 (if memory serves me correctly) when first released but they quickly patched it. If it ain't broke don't upgrade it

I don't understand why you paste this long reply (I remember having read it earlier)...
I am just suggesting to check whether GP-services are updated... I've seen several cases of high battery usage by GP-services while it was more than 4-5 months not-updated - for whatever reasons.
My GP-services use less than 0.5% per 24hrs. I have not disabled anything and I use the phone as intended/bought.
I have 2 sim cards (many times in poor reception conditions in outback), mobile data is always on as are BT, WiFi and location. GW4 is always connected. Daily automatic backups are scheduled.
No power saving settings used.
My battery takes me through the day, with 6-8 hours SOT. I charge phone once per day to 85%.
Furthermore, I am not at all interested in stories about the Note 10+. I had the Note 10+ for 2 years, never an issue, then the S21U; those phones are gone and forgotten...6I came searching Xda just to see if anyone noticed the same.
My phone has gone from easy 36 hours usage, to now barely 24 and needing to charge again before I go to bed
Might have known it was only a matter of time before Samsung broke that dream battery life!6

Asking because it will drain battery a lot6it's not a question of fake but if you remove all the options that make your phone called a high end device and you use it as a low end device it's normal that you can hold 150h of screen on time I saw your previous post where you use the energy saver WiFi no gps no social network apart from YouTube. might as well buy a galaxy a52 at 100 euro and you get exactly the same experience as you
