I didn't think much about them possibly coming in on Saturday. If anyone gets a call from a BB rep about their phone please let us know. I am interested in knowing if they will follow through and call lol.

I was the first person in my store today and while I wasnt able to walk out with my phone the manager did confirm for me that they did have them on site on the truck they were working on emptying so he said I should be expecting a call and/or email today since I preordered on the 5th in store. I then asked for clarification, I said I know Sprint is launching the phone today so are those preorder phones just for sprint or all carriers. He said they are for all of the preorders they took in store. I hope I get it today!

Best Buy Mobile Anyone?

Has everyone so far gotten their pre orders fulfilled at regular full-store Best Buy locations? Any success stories from Best Buy Mobiles?

I'm doing the refresh email, refresh xda, refresh email dance waiting to hear back from a Best Buy Mobile in Lake Charles, LA.

that's the way i understand it to be, though, they might not be letting people use the $50 gift card you receive on this purchase. hopefully someone that picked it up in-store can fill us in.

Yes, this $50 gift card will be used as a part of your payment and you will have to pay just the rest.

The point of the $50 gc was that you pre-ordered the phone by giving Best Buy $50. They didn't necessarily care if you used that $50 on the phone or not... they just wanted to ensure they got your $50 worth of business when doing the pre-order. I heard it was because a number of people pre-ordered the Evo LTE and never picked it up. So to add incentive for people to follow through on their pre-order, and cover themselves a bit if they didn't... they wanted your $50 spent within Bestbuy.

So, you will buy the phone for $200 and be able to use the gift card.

Rep at the Watertown, MA store told me I'd receive a $50 gift card for pre-ordering, similar to the promotion they're running for the Evo. I'm hoping that's the case.

Reason I pre ordered with them is I have $120 gift card in addition to the $50 I put down for the preorder and $50 phone freedom.
