I braved a thunderstorm to go pickup my white S3... :laugh:

they neglected to mention (and I failed to ask) which carrier they were for: ... SPRINT. Ah well. They said AT&T was arriving later in the day, or tomorrow. They were also only receiving as many phones as were preordered, and your name's on a list, so don't worry about "losing your spot"; just wait to be called/emailed.

Hahaha, I ordered at the same BB on queens blvd. I called them at 3 and they say they didn't have any in yet. Waiting on a white one for at&t. If you happen to get any new information, let me know and I'll do the same

I called the Murfreesboro TN store (1425) and the guy initially told me that had not come in yet. When I told him that Nashville must be the only city that did not get a shipment in he put me on hold and came back and said that they had received a shipment but the mobile department had not been notified. I told him that when I placed my preorder they had said that there were only about 4 ahead of me and he said that they only got three in this shipment and that he would call me back if one of them had my name on it. Go Figure, I think that if I had told him that I was number two he would of said that they only got one in.

Ouch. Well, good luck. Glad to see that TN isn't being treated like a red-headed step child (sorry, Kansas... :[ lol)

i got over $300 on my og evo buyback last november. it was a system error as i was only due $240. anyway, i held on to the card until now.

so now i'm curious if any of you have decided to pay for buy back. i had gotten it for free during a promo period initially. i think it costs an extra $70. what do you think?

I think it's $60. I did it with my evo3D and I should be getting a lot more(even if you subtract the $60) than if I sold it on ebay or anywhere else. I'll do it again with the GS3. The problem is that my buy back amount drops by about $80 if I can't get my GS3 in the next 2 days.

@driftr319 since your a manager at a BB mobile, I was wondering what steps are you taking in contacting the people who actually pre-ordered the device? Are you calling/e-mailing, or do you have enough stock to cover ALL the pre-orders at your store?

I'll answer what we usually do... (I'm a Lead at a BBYM)

Once the phones come in for the pre-orders, our in-store pickup system, pops and we "pick" your phone. At that time you are automatically e-mailed and when we get a second, we give you a call telling you you're phone is ready... There is those instances that we are too busy to give customers a call (usually not but...)..

Looks good. I still have my Captivate on my desk full of dust. I keep saying I am going to use it for a Robot/Arduino project, but that has yet to happen. Too busy being excited waiting for my SGSIII.

Probably. Haha. You should get an email confirmation that your phone is ready for pickup, but you can still call and see if their UPS truck has shown up

and usually how long does it take from Mr. UPS showing up to me receiving an email? I'm doing my be best not to call them. Don't know how much longer I can last though.

if you can find a temporary phone to use for a few days, i saw go for it. it'd be worth the $80 (to me at least).

Picking mine up now in Hoover, AL. They said they only received 2 phones. Had 6 total preorders. 16gb White btw.

Looks like Chicago area is a no go for ATT S3's in either color as of now 3:16 pm CST. We were really hoping to get them in by today. I'm not sure how often UPS delivers on Saturday (its VERY rare our location gets a Saturday delivery).

Depends on your store really...
