Just called Both Best Buys near me here in Sacramento and both told me they are going to fulfill their preorders tomorrow, neither hesitated with that answer either so we'll see.

I've spoken to 2 of my local stores here in AL and they both said they expect their shipments tonight or tomorrow morning. I asked about Sprint specifically. They are for preorder customers only.
I find it hard to believe how a big box store chain like BB can be giving different answers or have no idea/clue on the largest release to all 4 networks. I am 45 and can wait for Monday to get mine if not sooner but, this lack of credible and accurate info is unacceptable.
But then again, this is why they are closing stores left and right. You figured they learned from the EVO lte fiasco but, apparently not.

Talked to my BB today and they said 12 ATT SGS3s are supposed to arrive today for those who preordered.
I'm sure hoping you're right. I called mine earlier and they heard rumor of friday, but don't have them yet.
Just called my BB. Said that they have not received any yet. But he noted that they are to be shipped from Samsung today. Oh well...the wait continues.
Called Dublin, CA and they said there is a BB memo that states they will be receiving them today to fullfill tomorrow. He also said that I would get an e-mail before he even knows if the phones are in so to keep checking my e-mail. I'll call them back this afternoon to see if they have them in. Memo gives me confidence that they are getting them today or tomorrow.
I have been doing some research this morning and discovered that Best Buy Mobile is operated by Simplexity who also runs Wirefly. They also supply for Sears, Radio Shack and other third party retailers. It seems that a big box like Best Buy with approx. 1500 locations could negotiate a deal directly with Samsung and cut out the middle man. Especially when the middle man is also in the game selling the phone cheaper than yourself and is direct competition.
I must be an idiot for trusting best buy

Just called local BB in Central VA and they did not have any nor did they give me any info besides "Check your order status" and "You will get an email and a phone call when it's in"... Ugh
This may be a stupid question but how do you check your order status?
I preordered mine from BB yesterday. The rep there said a Sprint rep had come in earlier today and he got to play with the phone and, of course, said it was amazing. He also said that they were delaying them til the 28th...
That was at the BB in Clearwater, FL. The receipt for the "preorder" gift card says I can return it for a refund, so i'm gonna go ahead and return it and order it on wirefly instead and save $50.
I feel ashamed for going to BB to begin with. I went there because I thought I had read on one of the forums that they were giving a $50 gift card if you order the phone there. Then when it was all said and done and I was sitting in my car, I realized I wasn't getting that all... or even getting waived activation fee.

Austin TX- expecting shipment tonight for tomorrow. Pre orders have been set aside and after that its first come first serve. They must be getting a bunch.
Unfortunately I do not have a order number that begins with the BBY#. I have 2 numbers that are different from each other and neither work. I also called the 800 number and received no help.
Sorry, I couldn't get anywhere with it either. I should just stop relaying info from clueless sales associates.

Yup. This was my first time doing a pre order for anything from BB and I decided to do the Wirefly thing too. I guess by the time I get the phone maybe BB will have a nice case I can use this gift card on.
Not disagreeing with you at all, this experience with BB has been frustrating, particularly their lack of communication, but... FYI, the $50 you get is when you pick up the phone...not up front.
Just got back from BB here in KY, no phones came in today. So I guess tomorrow.
