Enjoying the ROM so far! If you don't mind, I have identified a few bugs:

- The dynamic screen refresh doesn't seem to work. If I set 60Hz as the minimum, 90Hz preferred, and 120Hz max, it seems like all apps will set to 60Hz. Only if I set the minimum to 90Hz or 120Hz will I get 90Hz or 120Hz refresh.

- Maybe more a feature request rather than a bug: the built-in camera app nor do any third party apps like Gcam seem to support the wide angle lens. I tried fiddling around with the camera IDs in Gcam, but I just get a crash. Maybe it has something to do with the ROM?

- Some live wallpapers seem to crash the wallpaper picker; Muzei doesn't, but the ported Pixel Livewallpapers do.

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to any updates!

Asus Zenfone 9
Then most probably you have missed some steps or not followed all steps from OP. Since all builds released in public are tested twice to make sure everything works as expected 🙂

Hi, I have the same issue as @cryhos, namely no sound at all. I made sure I followed the instructions carefully. I went back to stock and the issue doesn't exist there. When I flashed the bliss rom after going back to stock there is still no sound. Thanks in advance

Is it possible to remove the large clock from lockscreen?
Found it: settings, display
Can you provide log or any info ? there is no way on my device to reproduce this issue as my device is working perfectly fine and using it as primary device which means its my daily driver device. Without log or any information I wont be able to fix it considering my device is working perfectly fine.

So for install this ROM just follow exactly the instructions right?

Yeah just follow the instructions.

You can install roms to any slot and it'll work the same.
A rom always installs through twrp on the opposite slot. And after installing a rom, doing a restart will boot on the other slot that just got a rom installed.
Installing zips like gapps, magisk, any twrp modules however install to the same slot, unlike roms. So you have to reboot once after installing a rom to be on the rom slot, then install all the other twrp stuff.

There's a little more to it than this though, like if you install rom to slot b for example, then reboot recovery you might find twrp storage empty and internal storage undetectable through your pc. You might need to adb push zipname /sdcard/ through adb and install you zips. This happens when you don't reboot to system after installing, and going to recovery instantly before rebooting to system.

Or you could use the raw firmware from telegram channel to restore all partitions to stock and start over, this time rebooting to system first.

If you need to install gapps, you have to factory reset first after this first system boot.

I hope I didn't say something incorrect, I'm sure you could follow jackeagles advice if he corrects me

Thanks very detail and clear explanation man
Just one more thing, for "raw firmware" it's mean stock zip which we can get from ASUS website right?
Currently I'm in WW_33.0804.2060.113, do i need to update to the latest first?

No i mean this https://t.me/ZenFone9Channel/14
Sorry for not posting it in the original post

You go to bootloader by holding power+vol up as soon as the phone starts (you can always foece restart by holding power+vol down)
Or adb reboot bootloader
Then run update_image.bat (on windows. .sh on linux, the mac .sh on mac)
This will always overwrite all partitions of the phone to stock

And no you don't need to update first

i've been using bliss 16.7 for just a day and i'm already in love with this rom. it has plenty of customization options, double tap to wake and, most important of all, an amazing battery life, pretty similar to stock (that's a compliment!). thank you so much for bringing it to zf9, will be eagerly waiting the next release!!

edit: so far no issues or bugs to report
Thank you so much for kind words and wonderful review :) Means a lot to us :)

    Cheers!
