Thats all i get too. Thats why i was confused. I wonder if the WW build has additional files?

nope - it was tw WW download for me. So, EP201_768_SDUPDATE.zip is the file, huh?

Well I have the device here now. It doesn't boot past the splash screen.

In the bootloader it says this in the upper left corner:

Android cardhu-user bootloader <1.00 e> released by "WW_epad-10.6.1.8-20130225" A03
Key driver not found... Booting OS

Starting Fastboot USB download protocol

Whenever I try to go into RCK (with the WW_epad-user-10.6.1.8.zip in the root), it boots into recovery, starts the update, the blue bar fills quickly to full within 1 second and immediately I get the Android on its back with the red exclamation mark.

Any suggestions from here?

I just went ahead and extracted the 2nd zip, hooked up the TF300T to my pc and fastboot recognized it So I issued

fastboot -i 0x0B05 flash system blob

command. It just sat there, when after a minute or so it prompted me with

sending "system" <800923kb>...

Now it just hangs there (cursor blinking)

Curious to what's next

Maybe you got a bad download... try and download the file again

YAYYY I got it booted!!!!

I flashed the 10.4.2.20 blob and it's booted now

4.1, but still it's "unbricked" :good:

Now it just won't unlock... eheh... but may be fastboot still works (got it booting by fastboot flashing system blob )

Update: fastboot still works, but won't let me flash recovery, error:

FAILED <remote: <InvalidState>>

(The bootloader unlock tool doens't seem to work, but the lock sign in the bar to unlocked is alredy, unlocked?)

Which unlocker tool are you using? the one from asus' website is for 4.2 ONLY.

V8 is for 4.2 only. I am using the V7 for ICS & JB. It's giving me the "network error". I'm trying to register the device now - but that Asus server is too busy now too :laugh:

Was just double checking i couldnt see the V7 on asus' website. Wasnt sure if you had it from awhile ago. And of course the servers are busy -.- lol

I am having some trouble here. I bought the TF300T pad for my wife several months ago. She is no longer using it so I decided to take it over. I wanted to unlock, root, and install a custom rom as I have done on my Galaxy S3. After a lot of searching and reading I finally got it unlocked and rooted. The problem is, I can not seem to get a rom to install and boot. It installs fine but will not boot. Just stuck on the Asus loading screen.

A little background on the procedure I took. First I found that I needed to unlock the bootloader before I could root. So I went to the Asus download site and got the V7 tool. I installed it and the pad says that it is unlocked. So I try to boot into recovery to do the rooting. When I get there I have the RCK but no USB icon. I boot into RCK but get the dead android. I do some more searching and finally get an answer. I just needed to stay on that initial screen to flash TWRP recovery. I also let TWRP root the device. Now it seems I cannot get a rom to boot. I have tried CM10 stable, CM10.1 nightly, and a couple others but cannot get a single one to boot.


Any ideas or advice would be helpful at this point.

What I have done so far:
1. Downloaded the V8 unlock tool from the Asus website (no, I did not install the apk yet)
2. Downloaded this file from this XDA thread.

Beyond downloading files, I've done nothing else (no setup on my PC).
