Thanks for this thread, the downloads and installation instructions! Everything worked fine (even though I just flashed with only cache and dalvik wiping - wanted to keep all apps and messages etc.)

I finally managed to install ROM of OP on our K3 Note. Unfortunately it is without a SMS application. Is this intended and if so which SMS app should we choose instead? Any suggestions?

Next question is regarding OTA (or other) updates: Are there any for this ROM/device? Preferrably stock ROM version or stable custom ROM ones (with reasonable battery life and functionality for daily usage)?

If I would reflash that ROM and wiping also system partition what about SMS app, all other apps, whatsapp chats, Threema chats, received SMSs etc.? Would they all be gone? (Since I made a backup using myphone explorer I am not sure whether that one could reinstall everything, including chats, SMSs etc.)?

I've been using unofficial LineageOS android 7 ROM from long time on this phone. Due to this I might have missed important patches for drivers and radio.

This is the baseband version I've from the last update: AIO.5M.NEWPA.LWG.M.V13, 2016/08/25 17:40

Can you confirm if this one is the latest? Was there any update which enabled support for VoLTE on this phone?

Can you unroot this rom using unSU ????? Asking this because many of the k3 note's custom roms do not boot back into system after unrooting.
