Please explain with more details the instalation of this ROM. In the instructions you wrote to download the file, but there are 5 + 2 = 7 download links, so tell us how to use each one of them, so if we start from some stock not rooted Android 5.1 to have in the end your ROM installed. Thank you in advance!
dear all,
433 row link added by gourab and you all can flash it by sp flash tool
other are old roms only 433 is the latest and you dont need to flash others.
after flashing row 433 by spflash tool you can have root access by lenovo k3 note manager and also twrp from it.

i did this and its working perfect.

Hi,
I am using Secure settings 1.3.6 plugin for Tasker, "Device admin inactive, click to enable" notification pops up on every boot.
Same was working fine with Vibe 1629 and all other ROM's.

Thanks in advance.

I was using your ROM, great ROM by the way, but OTA update didn't work for me.

- Tried normal OTA update (download and reboot cel) with TWRP
- Tried normal OTA update (download and reboot cel) with Stock Recovery
- Tried downloading update.zip and execute using Stock Recovery
- Tried with ROOT and without ROOT all options above
- Even with a clean install and after flash I installed Stock Recovery

I tried with 2 different stock recovery:
1 - (English/Chinese Language) it just fails, update don't even start.
2- (Just English) the update starts, go to 24% and then says that the update is complete and when i reboot my cel, system says that my update fail. Checking informations, it really failed. Still on s427 version.

Each step above I did a clean install to test, all fails.

All options above didn't work. I had to reflash the system and install a fresh new Stock ROM without any modifications, so i could update my cel from S427 to S433.

Seems that when you install TWRP, even if you go back to stock recovery you can't update using OTA update. I tried installing a fresh stock rom without any modification, using SP Tools, and after that I installed TWRP then installed Stock Recovery Rom. When trying to OTA update, it fails too.

Any tips? Did you test all the ways? Someone updated from s427 to s433 with this rom?

Thanks in advance!
Well, I got no answer so I can assume that OTA update is not working with this ROM (Stock ROM Original Version S427 -Flash trough TWRP-).

Dear friends, it is really not clear how to install this ROW/ROM.

With a rooted phone and TWRP installed. So I want to use my TWRP to restore the S433ROW. I checked the links provided but they do not seem to be TWRP backup. Only the SP Flash version. What am I missing? Can you post the link to the file to restore with TWRP please?

The problem with this procedure is that developer doesn't care about the issues we're facing, the doubts we're having to understand the installing instructions. I don't say this is his duty or mandatory, but if he cared about posting and coding all of it he should be friendly towards us too. Here again is my post, expecting a nice answer from gourabpa:

1. First of all, why all this .img files download links are there? Where do they come in the instructions?
2. The first instruction says to extract the downloaded file. Which one? Since OP gave 5 links, which one is supposed to be extracted?
3. Where does the TWRP folder come from 2nd instruction?
4. With all this problems in mind, I just did a complete wiped everything and installed the ROM from second link on my phone. I got my android working. Is it correct?
5. How to install S433? Trying to flash it with twrp got this some message error. How it was supposed to be installed?

Please developer, read my doubts and answer them accordingly, don't send me back to your faulty instructions.

It looks like there is no TWRP restore version for S433. The SP Flash Tool is the way that will work.

I had TWRP already installed on my phone so I just downloaded the Lenovo K3 Note S433 ROW.zip on to my PC and extracted all files. You will see 3 directories. Drivers, SP_Flash_Tool_v5.1540, and target_bin.

If you need to install TWRP first, follow this guide:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/k3-note/general/sp-flash-tool-tutorial-to-install-twrp-t3346041
.

If you have TWRP already working, follow this:
Guide on flashing a ROM with the SP Flash Tool. Follow exactly and it will work.

Hope this helps.

Want to add a few things.

Stock ROM Original + Root Version S433 ROW is the link that I followed to download the files and is what I installed with the SP Tool. I did however NOT install the "Root Boot Image S422.img". All seems to work just fine. Great ROM. I did also NOT install SuperSU Version 2.78 SR1 (link provided on the first page). Did a root check with Root Checker and shows root access is not properly installed. This is fine with me, installed Pokemon Go and it now works. So my kid will like it this way. If I just want to use this phone as a daily driver, don't think I need root on it. Correct me if I miss something or if I should have installed anything else.

Well I celebrated too soon. I am on US T-mobile and calls work but no data connection. Mobile Network setting shows Tmobile but I do not get connection. I remember I had to manually enter APN settings on the original ROW that came with the phone. Tried these settings and they work for me. Now I do have date connection as well. Phew!
