Official case and wireless charging

I bought the 55W wireless charger with my phone and it works fine with the clear case that comes in the box. I also bought the official black case that has a carbon fibre effect, but with this it refuses to charge wirelessly.

Can anyone else confirm?

It wasn't the case. With the new thinner case, the phone was sitting too low on the dock for the charging coils to line up. I was scratching my head for a while until I discovered an insert inside the charger box that you stick on the charger to raise the height of the phone. All working now.

Great, I saw your original post this morning and worried cause I want that charger myself! Glad it worked out

I've found I can charge the phone on my 20w wireless pad I got for the Mi 9. And I had to be fussy with the positioning, it was more fiddly than the mi9. Least the back's transparent
