 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.

BUGS
Report bugs for nightly builds at https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/NIGHTLIES. Please keep in mind that bugs are expected on these builds. If you want something stable, choose the Snapshot branch.

Current status:
  • Builds: nightlies, snapshots
  • Lastest Snapshot: YOG7D
  • Will get next Snapshot: Yes. (Unless some serious issue pops out before its release)
  • Known issues: none
  • Security (kernel): all CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) are fixed
  • Supported CMHW classes: DisplayColorCalibration.java; KeyDisabler.java; VibratorHW.java; HighTouchSensivity.java

FAQ
  • ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
  • First of all do not flash any supersu/superuser/superman zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root acces > Apps Only
  • Are these gapps <insert random gapps package here> working with cm12.1?
  • Use the suggested package
  • Why today I got no nightly?
  • There were a build error or it means there's something wrong with the rom and I've choosen to stop nightlies until the problem gets fixed
  • Why is TDB not working / supported?
  • Official CyanogenMod support requies Encryption support. With TDB we can't have an encrypted userdata partition, otherwhise one system will be able to use it and the other won't
  • When do I have to wipe data?
  • You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channel.
  • Why no <insert miui feature here>?
  • Because this is CyanogenMod
  • Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
  • I won't. If you want submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.

The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

when this rom will go online? I m waiting eagerly for this rom !! Wow official cm rom finally !! I wish there is no SOD, no sim card bug present (like others rom has) and it would have fast charging at stock kernel with highest SOT. (More expectations from this rom)

Daily update? It looks like u like it :p
I tried to play with prima driver yesterday but i got bored of getting no progress after a few hrs i was triying. So IMHO the best way to get things working is rewriting all the things :p

What does this mean? It means I'm rebasing even the device tree (it contains a lot of config files, ramdisk stuffs and many more) on ivans. For those curious i uploaeded this change (still WIP) on my priv repo https://github.com/jrizzoli/android...mmit/0757d950986c96a95f90a397eedad272b1ccba8d check it out if you're interested in. Now im compiling it and il edit this post once it's done so youll know how it went.
Now i know you're all thinking "this guy is fu**ing boring, he tries new stuffs everyday and we still have nothing". AFAIK @Bitti09 does builds from my sources and publish them here almost every day so you can test my lastest stuffs (that will be cm one). And about the "trying new stuffs everyday" I want this to be the last big change. This will bring us cool stuffs like:
    - Support for HW encryption
    - Easily merge lastest xiaomi (ivan) changes
    - Working WiFi (i dunno atm, but it must be working :p)
    - Easier merge from other devices like bacon (expecially on media side)

Looking forward to release the first nightly :D
(and to those who asked: both original 640mb and extended 1200mb system partitions will be supported, you just need to use twrp or sr, but NOT cwm)

EDIT: So it didn't went well, at all. I'll try to do sth else, i won't give up! :D

EDIT: about wifi: u need to add a symlink to wcnss_conf (it's ok if u build all the build).
Device tree and kernel are up to date, I'll merge the fix for sensors in about 10 hrs, then it will be ready for nightlies rollout :)

EDIT 2: nigthlies tomorrow, yup, i couldn't find a better day, after miui 7 disappointment for still being on kk while mi2(s) is on lp, a lot of people will try some real android with lp on Their devices

An update since i see you're all happy for this. I'm rebasing the kernel over Ivan's lp one (yep, I started with kk one from micode, but Ivan's has some better support for caf and cm is based on caf, so everything should be better)
Selinux is now fine, I just need to forward port the prima drivers to lp kernel otherwise WiFi will not work well (it turns off as soon as you turn it on), I hope it won't take me more than another day :)
For those who asked: the hdr camera bug while rotated 270° is still here but you must blame xiaomi, it's from their blobs (precompiled files that are usually taken from stock rom). And about the random no sim bug I've found a fix and it looks like it worked (I tried rebooting 6/7 times and it was every time OK
