The problem with this forum is all novices and noobs are commenting without thinking. It is not the dev's decision to not include LTE. There may be other factors like availability of sources. Even Ivan's AOSP doesn't support LTE.
We are indeed getting custom roms for MI3 which is a blessing. People should rather just keep their mouth shut and enjoy the ROMs.
If you don't like it, you are welcome to leave the forum and not come back. Also discussion should involve only CM12.1 bugs and specifics.
First of all, I said that it's his rom and he can do with it whatever he wants. Second: Ivan's rom fully supports LTE (4G). Third: don't be a dickhead.
I fully support what linuxxxx is doing here and I believe that in the future he will embed a full support for mi4's LTE. And while you mentioned bugs, that IS a bug. If your phone has LTE bands you can't use, mms is not working,... we write about that because we all want this rom to be even better.

First : this is a polite forum , so dont offend.
Second : change rom if you dont like it because have this "bug". Try mokee .. Im not sure but it has support for lte(4g).

1. I didn't offend nobody, I just told the guy NOT to be a dickhead and I defended my views.
2. aren't we supposed to write about bugs to contribute to even a better rom?
3. peace, always! ;)

ok... that's a shame, having the LTE but can't use it... I don't understand the dev's decision - no love for LTE, but it's his rom so he can do whatever he wants...
Well to be fair you are in the wrong forum for your device. Be thankful they support your device at all. This forum was for the mi3 phone only. The mi4 has it's own forum and so does the mi4c. IMHO: This is the biggest problem with xiaomi phones. They are trying to group several phones into the same rom which is going to be their greatest downfall with size, conflicts with the os and the phones hardware.

The Mi 3 and the Mi 4 share the same ROM.

It's pointless to have 2 separate threads to talk about the exact same ROM. There should be just one CANCRO thread.

I own a Mi 4 but there is much much more activity here. That's why I, and certainly the other Mi 4 owners, come here.

The Mi 4C is a totally different device as it doesn't share the same ROM as the Mi 3 and Mi 4.

Agreed they share the same rom and that's my point. They cram 2 roms into 1. Granted their hardware is almost identical there are different components such as NFC, ir blasters, different CPUs, cameras, lte and etc. This causes conflicts I was talking about and a lot more work for the developers to debug. This is why mi4 users should be grateful their phone is being supported at all in this thread. It's just a bad idea to try and support multiple models with 1 rom in my opinion but I'm no developer so I may be wrong it's just my thoughts on the matter.

I have set my SELinuxMode to 'permissive' but the IR Blaster still does not seem to work :(
Are you using correct app? Also, it may be working but you might be selecting a wrong model for your appliance, for example the 2nd preset on Galaxy Universal Remote worked for my Sony TV.

The best way to check if the IR blaster works is to get another phone, open its camera and use the IR app in your mi4 and see if the IR blaster lights up giving a violet-pinkish light in other phones viewfinder.

If it lights up and your appliances don't work, you may need to switch to another app or preset, if it doesn't even light up after setting SELinuxMode to 'Permissive', then I really don't know how to fix that as it works fine on my device. (I am on a 4 or 5th Nov build though).

Not sure my previous message was clear, sorry... I posted a link pointing to the official Xposed thread, which indicates v78 is available. That's why I'm confused...
