Hey guys, currently I'm using ArrowOS android 11. Just wanted to know if there is any serious bug in dotOS like camera freezing, video, 4k etc, call drops, wifi/mobile data bad connection etc.
In ArrowOS, it's CAMERA is very very very very bad. Please tell me if I can switch to DotOS without these bugs.

The problem with DotOs that it's like MIUI. They take a firmware and modify a lot which goes far beyond stock. E.g. this ROM. It has one or two features from Android 12 but lacks some basic stuffs of Android 11 or Even Android 10. TTS isn't included. For TTS you have flash a heavy gapps and that replaces The Inbuilt home app with pixel launcher. No option t swipe down to clear all recent . No clear all button below recent. Can't change Vollte style. No option to hide Autobrightness icon in quicksettings. Background dark colour variety is limited to only 3 ( black, more black, less black). Can't hide the IME space below keyboard

Okay what... I went onto the DotOS official website and looked up for the Custom ROM version for Asus Max Pro M1 (X00TD). The XDA link mentioned there surprisingly brings me to the Redmi Note 5 Pro thread lol.

OP or whoever the maintainer is, I request you to add threads under Asus devices (or at least Max Pro M1) as well, since you are officially supporting the device. It would be really helpful for people looking at viable alternatives to use as their daily driver.

In the official website the device is showing as discontinued due to no maintainer.

Kindly let us know if this is DoTOS EOL for Whyred

It's great however there are 2 features missing: sound delay between notifications, limitation of the back gesture to half screen.

    CLEAN FLASH/First Time Installation :

    Download the latest build
    First Make sure recovery is installed.
    Reboot to recovery
    Make nandroid backup (Not Necessary, but just in case if you lost somewhere)
    Perform Factory Reset/Format
    Flash the build
    Flash Gapps (Optional)
    Reboot to System


    DIRTY FLASH :
    Download the latest build
    Reboot to recovery
    Flash the latest build
    Wipe Cache
    Reboot

    Note: GApps only has to be flashed once whereas Magisk/Su is to be flashed every time you Dirty Flash the OTA Update.
