Yes, previously the kernel was using some extra commits for Cypress to light up only when the touchkeys are pressed. It was causing problems with disabling Cypress lights permanently. Though the kernel already supported it without those commits just that it needed some device tree edits.

Yes. But clean flash is recommended for avoiding bugs.

Making a normal, voice call, using BT is NOT possible in ANY Nougat rom for note 2.
Listening to music or making a call over Whatsapp, viber, messenger, is not a problem though.
Everything related to cellular, voice calls over BT is not possible.
Sometimes selecting 2G instead of 3G helps(network is not crashing) but most of the times the other part cannot hear you talking

so i've clean flashed this rom with open gapps pico and there is this really weird bug , when i am on lockscreen and press power button to lock the phone . screen rotates 180 degree for a sec and then locks , anyone else ?

Try using super su instead of magisk because i had had too many bugs on android 7 on note 2 with magisk i think that it is the problem

YOU have install everything that could make you suffer from bugs, you have only miss substratum, how so?

I was facing the same and this how got it fixed: flash the supersu zip (relevant one) through recovery. Reboot. now you can change the selinux mode.

The latest build (171103) does not seem to support wake on hand wave/ show notifications on hand wave though it was on the last build. It was such a convenient feature. Am wondering is it buried deep somewhere in settings or has been removed!

Bluetooth does not work for me in the latest build, neither receiving, nor sending, when paired to an S4.

I was using it without any trouble. For the first time on the phone, the SOD problem started. How can I fix ?
And i did try another ROM, has the same problem.

I solved the problem with SOD KILLER application. But adherence to an application is bad. At first, there was no such problem.

This was already known since the first release that transfering files with Bluetooth won't work on any device running XenonHD nougat.

Maybe it is worth mentioning there.
At least I'd consider this as bug.

Also, why is it? XenonHD doesn't like bluetooth?
It works in many other ROMs, and it sounds like an artificial restriction to an otherwise great ROM.
I'm just curious (maybe others as well).
