I have a factory unlocked G960F/DS I bought on eBay, service provider code is AFG (Afganistan), it's on BRF8 firmware now but I want to reflash stock firmware because I messed with the OEM unlock option after 7 days and now it's gone.

Is it okay if I install this OXM firmware to make it brand new? I'm from México so I use a mexican sim.

Another potentially daft question here. I have the UK Vodafone vodafone version of the phone and am unlocking it. I also would prefer to move over to stock UK unlocked firmware, which appears to be G960FXXU1BRF8 for BTU (although query - what is the difference between XEU and BTU - is it still just that BTU is for handsets that come directly from samsung?)

If I flash with ODIN, will I trip Knox and will I get OTA updates in the future?

Thanks very much for any thoughts!

Flashing official firmwares trough odin never trip Knox!

You won't trip KNOX flashing stock, and you will still get OTA at the time that region firmware gets them, not vodafone

Hello there, here are links to firmware files for the Galaxy S9. This is a homepage for firmware of all models, and will be updated as more and more firmware become available.

Here are the download links:
SM-G960F (single SIM) -- Link
SM-G960F/DS (Dual-SIM) -- Link

Important note: As @murtaza02 mention in the S9+ thread, the OXM multi-CSC firmware is a good choice, so we are using that firmware for the SM-G950F model (Asia, Europe, Australia, etc.)
Check out his thread here for download instructions and to know more about OXM firmware, and why you should use this only if you have SM-G960F.

Which is better for india ?
Should i go with xeu
Does it have better support?
You can install XEU firmware. Your device's CSC will remain unchanged when you select HOME_CSC file in the CSC tab. Only when you select the CSC file in place of HOME_CSC file, Odin will install the XEU CSC.
Select HOME_CSC doesn't change the CSC, that is it.

So if I don't change the csc i wont be able to get ota updates from xeu right?
UAE poorly pushes updates,so i want to change it to some csc which have better support.
Also this is the latest build right?
Can i flash it regardless of the current firmware?

Flashed my UK '3' S9 with the firmware linked in the first post (SM-G960F (single SIM) )
All appeared to work fine
But now I have the dreaded 'no entry' sign rather than mobile network bars.
Doesn't even seem to know the sim is in.
Tried reflashing again.
Tried resetting mobile network
I have fixed the issue now by following this tutorial and downloading an alternative Firmware version.

Would be interested to know if the firmware linked in the first post is meant for UK, because it did not seem to work for me.

That post has not been updated since March, that is old firmware, always flash the latest from sammobile or using the samfirm tool on XDA
