How did you do that?
Stop teasing and share Your method
Do you use your phone in english, it's not showing for me.I will also add that you can change the "system assistant app" on the default apps from bixby to GAssistant also to let it access the the screen text (same permission has in the phone).
My country (Portugal) is not in the markets selected but I had the update waiting on the store and have it working.
Check for it on the watch play store or for the icon on the apps if it maybe already auto updated.
Already did that and it didn't work, maybe it's also region locked.Install google assistant to watch (via BugJaeger) and launch it. On phone select 2 assistant languages English and your country language. 1. English 2. Polska.
If you not understand - I record video
Please Make screenshot on google assistant- languagesAlready did that and it didn't work, maybe it's also region locked.![]()

Download Google Assistant APK for Galaxy Watch 4 (Wear OS)
Samsung just rolled out the Google Assistant update for the Galaxy Watch 4. Download Google Assistant APK for Galaxy Watch 4 and all the Wear OS devices.www.androidsage.com
I didn't need to download the app. It automatically appeared under Galaxy wearable on my phone and on my GW4 watch. I am in Canada, and it became available today.
How did you do it? i can make mine work with the button, but when i say ok google /hey google it says :I will also add that you can change the "system assistant app" on the default apps from bixby to GAssistant also to let it access the the screen text (same permission has in the phone).

It doesn't show Google Assistant as default app, only Bixby. I customized the top button for Google Assistant and also have it as hands free for commands. You will find Google Assistant settings under Google on the watch Settings.
thanks for the info. I was wondering how to turn off the "hey Google" . I saw that having it on and listening all the time eats up a lot of battery. For me, it is enough that I mapped the button to respond. It doesn't show Google Assistant as default app, only Bixby. I customized the top button for Google Assistant and also have it as hands free for commands. You will find Google Assistant settings under Google on the watch Settings.
Did you happen to have the issue im having? It doesn't show Google Assistant as default app, only Bixby. I customized the top button for Google Assistant and also have it as hands free for commands. You will find Google Assistant settings under Google on the watch Settings.
Try using a different browser. Change your default browser to Firefox or DuckDuckGo. Also, reset your app defaults where you select where you want to open the app. In Google Assistant info page, just look for defaults and reset them or change to open in app. The link shouldn't open in Chrome, it's a GA link that launches in directly in GA app. So your default setting under GA or Chrome is messing you up. I'd reset both GA and Chrome Defaults. Maybe Google too just in case. Next time you try to launch it should prompt you which app to open with.i installed ( updated) assistant on my watch but when i try to activate it and i hit Open on phone to activate my phones open a link on Chrome that says Invalid Dynamic Link and i cant connect and i dont know how to manually do in it my phone google assistant anyone can help ?
Weird, thanks for checking
Woah that's wild. Delete the extra assistant that you downloaded for your phone. The GA you downloaded off playstore is no different than the one that comes installed and is a system app. You only want the system app assistant and it can't be Uninstalled. So delete whatever GA can be Uninstalled and try again.nice idea i did it but it only ask me to open in in a list of my browsers and i can choose any other and the this is the link : https://goo.gl/app/search/?link=https://assistant.google.com&apn=com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox&amv=301193933&al=googleapp://deeplink?data=CkwBDb3mGzBFAiBEjfXF_UP3ceBC2e8ZPEsbulAlJHkQLvh-OThexVX_0gIhAPC88za04aryx3BV-4UMwrK2YEDCFMG24w3mBXha8rekEm8KBgjR5s2PARIICOgFEgNvcGEaNRIzCAkSL_rxnKMJKQgBIh9jb20uZ29vZ2xlLmFuZHJvaWQud2VhcmFibGUuYXBwKAFAAVABIiQKImh0dHA6Ly9hc3Npc3RhbnQuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS9kZXZpY2U&assistant_device_id=DC:CC:E6:38:88:15&node_id=1339b046&_nr=1 and there is 2 kind of assistant on my phone which i believe 1 is only for wear os i have both installed on watch and phone but it seems it cannot open the app directly when i open in in
Wow, I don't have it there. Only permission manager
you may wanna change that to "general" or even a "how to"Update your wear app and then go to play store on your GW4. Select My Apps and update Assistant. Then go to Watch Settings and set your default assistant app to Google Assistant. Thennnnn, you'll find the GA icon as a launchable app. Launch it to activate assistant. Thats it! Enjoy.
Same here too, missing
