Warning:
Don't flash any other Bootstack since the newest N Bootstack is already included into the ROM. This ROM may not work on devices that have not installed the N Bootloader and Modem.
What it is
- GZOSP is our 8.1 base we use for other projects, e.g. Validus
Not much features will be added, only basics and aosp patches will be merged.
It's open source and buildable for anyone, builds from it already started popping up, so we decided to allow it
and to avoid the constant pm's with build questions we decided to create this thread, so maybe people will
help each other some.
Isn't that a novel idea

What is this thread
- The place for: questions about GZOSP, GZOSP builds, GZOSP unofficial builds, GZOSP build questions,
GZOSP issue reports, GZOSP requests, GZOSP anything...

We will not be creating device threads for GZOSP ourselves since it is our base for Validus, for now.
-(Maintainers and unofficial builders are allowed to do whatever they want with GZOSP builds however).-
But since some people like that pure aosp feeling, we will post builds when things get added/updated in here now.
No plans for Tesla & Tipsy yet, but since those were born out of boredom at the end of a Validus Android cycle
anything can happen when we get bored again
- If reporting issues state what device since this is in Beta development

whats working :
RIL
Camera
AUDIO
WIFI
BLUETOOTH
CALLS
DATA
FINGERPRINT

issues:
selinux = permissive
others maybe:cool:

Instructions:
1. Download the zip
2. Bootloader needs to be unlocked
3. Perform a backup of your current ROM (optionally)
4. Wipe system, data and cache (optionally) [Needed if coming from another rom; always good to avoid bugs]
5. Install the ROm
6. Install GApps (optionally) [Recommended -> Open GApps (arm) (8.1)]
7. Reboot

What's new from lineage 15?
Try,test and see. Well to answer no new features compared to lineage 15 except few like status bar tweaks.

Just installed the ROM and first thing I noticed is excellent ram management more than 8 apps were in memory and the ROM is really smooth
Will keep you updated if found any bug.
And lastly thankyou so much for developing the Oreo ROM for our device waiting for added features.

Ahead of lineage 15.0 in terms of fp, behind in terms of fluidity and rest of development.
Good to see system ui tuner though:svetius:
Behind in terms of fluidity and rest of development? Really? Only the boot up video is not so fluid.. Rest is very similar to linkages 15 and has better battery without tweaks.. Please test for a day minimum to give review sharmaji..

All working fine , even Im feeling FP working faster than nougat. Just felt that whenever I open app it lags for few seconds but then it works fine. Camera, Video recorder, FP, Speakers are also working fine. I will test battery backup and will update soon about it. Thanks for your work.

Don't judge the ROM for using few minutes.
Fluidity, i judged from app openings., it lags and stutters like a moto phone.
No idle drain for me in both roms, battery life is same
FP is fastest in AEX nougat and MiUi,hats off; how come this came in b/w, i don't know.
For development, i meant to say, it is straight aosp without even having icon packs or a very very basic testing browser.
Lineage 15 is almost ready to use.

He did mention development in brackets obviously is understood and there's no lag while opening any apps..did you restore you're apps?
