I recently bought LG G4. Earlier I used Oneplus and so used to rooting and custom roms. Now suddenly my friends warned me not to even soft root without unlocking bootloader as it will void warranty according to them. So can anyone confirm that they could claim warranty even after rooting if bootloader is not unloked?
Thanks in advance.

My G4 has been rooted ever since I have bought it (i.e. Sept, 2015). I have claimed warranty after I got the bootloop issue. The bootloop problem is not related to rooting your device, it is a hardware failure affecting almost all G4 and V10 units. The indian H818N variant hasn't had its bootloader unlocked yet so that option doesn't exist.

Also, is there any way to use 2 internet connection simultaneously in our phone ?
Any information about g4 volte software update in India...
?

Sent from my LG-H818 using XDA-Developers mobile app

indian G4 users please check & inform others... :fingers-crossed:

:good:
VoLTE is present in the hardware but not enabled in the Indian software version. Download and install the Hong Kong variant of the H818N rom. You don't compulsorily have to be on CAMuix. I have seen some people already have VoLTE on the G4 with a Hong Kong rom. I personally don't feel the need as I have been using my Jio sim only for 4G since July!

You wont buddy , i am sorry to say that . i am living with this fact and you should have started to do the same. Wait for 7.0 and may LG and google bless us.

hello friends,
I have recently purchased jio 4G SIM. Its working fine with my Moto turbo but I am not able to register this SIM on Jio network in my LG G4 Dual SIM (purchased in India). Is G4 dual sim not compatible with Jio sim? How to proceed? Kindly help.
