My galaxy s6 edge back broken and replaced @8000 very expensive thin glass (very overpriced by samsung)

Sounds like they replaced the rear housing.

But replacing the digitiser is cheap. have not seen any dissaembly videos for it though. usually they also get the lcd which means much more.

Only thin piece of rear glass which is as thin as a tempered Glass screen protector looks like rupeese 500 thing. With a golden color plastic mirror like tape match to mobile cover . cost 8000 approx + 5 days waiting and 3 times visits. new glass have small scratch in manufacturing
Fron screen with edge cost 17000 rupee to replce

Dual sim LG orignal circle book type of case does not support wireless charging
Yes single sim case have built in wireless charging points

No there are not any ports in device with dual sim. Same place have second sim slot . you can say， in single sim have wireless points where second sim slot in dual verson

Im tempted to buy this phone. I have a S6 32 gb version. Don't like touchwiz at all. Only reason im wanting this phones is its a high end dual sim phone(currently carring two phones). Also it runs a snapdragon processor so it will get custom rom support much quicker. LG is also releasing a tool to unlock the bootlocker. Is the G4 worth switching? Or should i just wait for the next Nexus? @deepforest how much did you manage to sell your edge for? ANd how much do you expect i will get for my s6?

No there are not any ports in device with dual sim. Same place have second sim slot . you can say， in single sim have wireless points where second sim slot in dual verson

Umm, the ports i saw in reviews were midway down near the battery not where the second sim is placed. Look for four pins.

Could you take a photo and post here of the back, if you don't mind. i would be very surprised if those ports are not there.

The middle eastern version is dual too and has those ports.

My galaxy s6 edge 64 gb back cracked . it is very delicate be careful so i repair it @7800. Samsung has very bad service quality. So i sold my s6 edge 64 gb 45000 only . because in my city apready many people sold it so i lost 65000- 45000 = 20000
And i buy g4 49000
Its better than s6 as i find.
Battery life is still not good. Same as s6
But after some update it may better

You said this earlier and i'm disappointed to hear that. samsung is known for having many service centres. You do not think twice with samsung compared to local brands.

ridiculous price you had to pay just to replace the glass. how could they charge so much. without changing the back rear housing. I take it there was no free repair for 6 months ? i remember such an offer for S5. There is one for G4 too but only for the first six months.

ideally you should not have had to pay anything. But backglass is not the same as screen i suppose (!)

Battery life still pretty bad then..On my S6 I struggle to get more then 2 hrs screen on time and cannot manage without charging it during the day. So i guess it wont make a huge jump shifting from a s6. I guess ill have to live with this device till the prices come down and i can just exchange the phone with some one with a LG g4 from this thread . Thanks for your inputs @deepforest

Galaxy s6 edge screen cost Rs 17000 or more to replace
And who buu after 6th may they cant change screen free of cost.
While LG G4 screen replacement cost only 6400 and free for first time
Back of S6 cost 7800 and very delicate
But LG G4 back u cant break it. Or its just cover to replace byself to any color

Back glass is as thin as a tempered glass protector.
It has color tape stick inside like Gold white black or sapphire blue .
And many phone backs have inside spots. Like mine after change to new one

Yes but battery still little beter than s6
Its problem if Google . after android 4.0 they have many sync and data problems in android lolypop 5.0. Still unsolved in 5.1.1

May be fix in 5.2

Guys can anyone please confirm does the G4 get hot due to this hot summer??? I am from Bangladesh n cannot confirm from my people here as G4 still not available to many here. My one gets really hot at day time especially while charging & charging gets slower. I am attaching a screenshot here. Please someone response. Thanks in advance.

What is the highest temperature there ? 42 degrees c. That is fine. I don't see a problem.

Once it gets to 45 then its uncomfortable.

G4 have Snapdragon 808 which is one of coolest processor
810 have heating problems.
My G4 Never heat up not even 35 o
