My m440s stock roms never could make shortcuts on lock screen. Strange korean thing I think.

well I've noticed Chainfire no longer support CF-roots for SGS3, instead it made a new tool CF-auto-root. Can any1 confirm the new CF-auto-root work with Korean SGS3 as well?

Has anyone rooted there SHV-E210K after updating to Jelly Bean via Kies???
Will the old ICS rooting method still work???
Also the can we use the latest CWM recovery for I9300 model?
Thank you
Ive got the E210S, and just flashed the pre-rooted JB ROM.
You should be able to root after, if you update through Kies, but you will have to wait for a bit.
I am guessing that Tegrak will update his Kernels soon and others will too. But, honestly, using Odin and flashing the pre-rooted ROM is so easy!
We should be able to use the Touch CWM that p33k has posted in his M440S thread.
I am about to do that next.
Did you use the pre rooted rom from the two part hot files link? Or is there another one I'm not seeing?

Side note, anyone that has updated to JB, find that you cannot connect your phone to Odin in download mode?
Connects to computer fine when phone is running, but when in download mode, computer doesnt detect the phone being connected to the usb.
Probably silly question on my part... but have you tried other usb ports or even another computer? Works here.
yup, just strange.
Detects it no problem when the phone is running, but as soon as I unplug, reboot into download mode and the reconnect the usb, just doesn't detect it......no sounds or anything from the computer signifying that a device has been plugged in.

I recall having read somewhere about people having similar problems when not using the original Samsung usb cord and after switching back to the original cord would solve it.
I used the one that was posted on Matcl.
p33k posted all the links and they are also posted under the phone specific firmwares that are on the OP.
I flashed the one from matcl and my banking app says it can't open bc my phone is rooted, but none of my other rooted apps work. Any ideas why?

Finally updated to pre rooted jb on my 210k. Wiped and cleared cache installed via odin. Running well so far except forgotten to backup pics from phone memory and redownloading all my apps.
Many thx to everyone who ppsted links. I downloaded via mediafire link single file no issues at all except after extracting the file qith a .md5. Just rename file by deleting.md5 and flash away.
No issues connecting to odin or entering download mode.
For those on kt, did you guys activate HD voice?
