Anybody else experience some lag after flashing the pre.rooted ROM? I believe my S3 is faster before the new update. I updated first via Kies then flashed the pre.rooted ROM.
P.S. Any tips for a decent kernel for my S3? 감사합니다

No lag experience but just hate the annoying auto dim while browsing using stock browser. Had to turn off power saving feature but then screen will go off when in dark. Waiting to update the patch but it's only for connection stability.

im running JB on my SKT model. everything is perfectly fine and i have no SKT symbol on the top. what would the advantage of tegrak kernel be?

okay i give up on the toggle mod. original mod creator doesnt know why it would work for ICS on the e210s but not for JB. any devs in here with the know how to somehow get it working on our phones? i will throw money at you!

as far as i know, the only advantages are being able to overclock, root if you're using a non-rooted firmware, and changing from cfg => deadline..although i'm not sure if that even has an effect on our phones anymore.

For me tegrak has easy root unroot. He has kernels up for new jb firmware?

How were you able to get the SKT from the upper left of the screen?
It's not a big deal, but would be nice if it weren't there.

couldn't figure out how to get rid of it, but i came across a theme a korean dev made for our model, and i'm pretty impressed with it..and i'm pretty picky when it comes to themes haha.

just sign in, download the file that does NOT have "pure" in the file name..that's the stock in case you want to revert. flash it using tegrak recovery or cwm and it should get rid of the SKT while giving you a pretty sexy look.

it's not really a full theme. basically the SKT gets removed from the notification bar (which really bothered my OCD lol) and themed the pull down menu. it looks really nice..minimalistic. it's not too much of a departure from stock if you're worried about that. give it a shot! you won't be disappointed i love it

I've managed to solve my problem by just having an Emergency Firmware Recovery and Initialization in Kies. ^_^

Haven't had this problem, but I have had some problems with the google.gapps not responding or giving me errors.
Anyone else get errors regarding .gapps after the JB update?

I got those errors on the first JB update but they were gone on the second update. And I used tegrak to root btw.

Actually I had those errors on the rooted stock rom. And was alil laggy as well.

Anyone ever try restoring your phone with tegrak recovery but using a CWM backup ? Just curious if it will work ?

Might need to go with Stock and Tegrak then...
Im using pre-rooted stock right now.
