Okay so just to give an update on @arter97 Kernel. I was using 2.2 for quite some time and I had no issues. I noticed when I updated to 3.0 I started getting the random reset after voice calls. I just tried 3.1 and I'm still getting the random resets after voice calls. So somewhere after 2.2 something went wrong. Just wanted to share my problem so people that want to try his kernel which is Awesome!!!! FYI. know the potential bugs.

Anyways keep doing what your doing Arter97 we all appreciate the great work.

@dash87 @arter97 Hey I've been testing arters kernel 3.0 - 3.1.1 on my E210S Temasek v126 and I've been having the same issue of random resets after voice calls. On v3.1 I also experience the phone failing to charge at all. Anyway, I've reverted back to v2.2, which I'd stated in a previous post has fantastic battery life. I'm not switching back to boeffla kernel just yet because I still have faith in arter97's kernel. As dash87 said before, arter97 keep up the good work, we all really appreciate the great work. :good:

Hello Guys. I have a problem after i install kitkat for my e210s.my file in internal memory all lost (( are you have a solution for my problem ?

I'm not sure that there's anything that you can do to recover the files. Flashing kitkat using odin basically factory resets and formats all partitions. Sorry

Hey chegeluuv, since were sharing the same issues I wanted to ask if you experience the screen taking 2 sometimes 4 seconds to turn on when hitting the wake button. I'm using 2.2 as well and the only settings in atweak i changed were the CPU Governor to interactive and turned off touch boost because its off in v3.0 + Other than that issue I cant really complain, I too really like the battery performance.

Hey chegeluuv, since were sharing the same issues I wanted to ask if you experience the screen taking 2 sometimes 4 seconds to turn on when hitting the wake button. I really haven't experienced the 2-4 sec delay in switching on when the wake button is pressed, but I'll monitor for a couple of days and get back to you. Furthermore, I'm not really sure which atweak settings to mess about with so I've left it at default. If you want me to test I can make the same changes in settings as you and test the outcomes? :fingers-crossed: I too saw the change log arter97 has made in his v3.0+ kernels and have been wondering if I should mimic some of the changes where I can, but honestly I'm not sure what to expect and I can't afford my phone to be offline/unavailable for too long during the week.

Instructions

Extract (unzip) the firmware file
Download Odin v3.09
Extract Odin zip-file
Open Odin v3.09
Reboot phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons)
Connect phone and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin
Add the firmware file to AP / PDA
Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked
Click the start button, sit back and wait a few minutes

First download 4.4.4 from sammobile and upgrade your phone to latest software - using odin
and then root, acording to my root method, it will work

Try using Root Cleaner, even the quick cleaning option will do. It helped solve my wake delay problem. It can also solve other problems you may be encountering with your phone.

I just used Odin to install 4.4.4 to my S3 but the first install failed. Luckily I was able to attempt another install. After it was complete, my phone had been updated to 4.4.4 and everything seemed good to go until i tried to access the "settings" menu. After multiple restarts, every time I access the settings menu, it closes with message "Unfortunately, settings has stopped"

I then reloaded 4.4.4 through Odin, but it didn't fix this issue. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
