Please check there active processes. Mine android.process.media was busy all the way.... it consumes CPU and battery.. so I had no other option than disable it with Rescan Media Root. Now I cannot see my media files. However the phone is fast responsive and battery last long.
I use quickpic gallery, poweramp as substitutes to music and gallery apps (quick pic and power amp has own built- in media scanners). So it is a small trade off.. though my phone is flying now

I'm looking for an ICS/JB ROM that has actual good battery life. Every I've tried just seems to suck my batteries empty really fast. I've already bought an 1800mAh battery but that one dies too fast too. In fact, everywhere I go I bring an extra battery pack, and a lot of times the phone is dead after about 2ish screen hours? Just way too fast. If only I had a good battery life I would last a few more months with this phone. I hope this ROM has it.
Anyway the issue seems to be fixed, thanks!

You wouldn't happen to be using a launcher would you?

I had those same issues while using GO Launcher, I tried leaving only the stock Trebuchet that comes with LANIGHT and everything seems to work great now.

I do wish this trebuchet was more configurable but in the end I prefer speed and stability.

Btw I'm using 8.5 now

No, just the default launcher that LANIGHT provides (stock I think?)

Side note: Can I disable the search softkey? Mine seems to press itself LIKE CRAZY to the point that my phone might as well be bricked. I think I'm about done with custom ROMs, not really worth it for something I need on a day-to-day basis

The search softkey going nuts is usually due to humidity. Putting your phone in a bag of rice for a couple days should fix that..

Other option would be to disable them, most custom ROMs allow it and you can enable them on screen.

Please flash stable Lanight versions. Alpha don't have things working thus alpha.
Figured out that my SDCARD is corrupted or something like that. Now have to use my external as my internal, but by doing this my camera won't work, saying "there is no external storage present." Tried editing my vold.fstab, but I guess I'm doing it incorrectly because it would just stick onto the loading screen when booting up and would never move on.

What version you flashed?

I installed 8.5 alpha and disappearing ringtones happened, flashed the fix while it appeared to fix the ringtone issue it broke google now getting constant fc and would not even open. I cleared the app data, fixed permissions in recovery, uninstalled and reinstalled with no change. Flashed 8.5 again and google now works as before.

Just downloaded 9.2.1, it installed and is working just fine. :)

EDIT: Developer options seems to be missing in settings, however, and when I try to open the storage menu in settings, I get an FC. Other than that, looks great!

For developer option settings -> about phone -> press build number 7 times

Sure, put it under rom thread.
Someone beat me to it, oh well.

I seem to be having problems enabling bluetooth as well; I go to turn it on, and it switches right back off. I've tried different radios and reflashing, but to no avail. The log shows "Error while turning Bluetooth On", then lists a bunch of Service not registered exceptions.

Any thoughts?

Try the Bluetooth patch from pawtip thread and report back.

No luck with the patch. I've looked at the logcat again, and I've found some other errors that I didn't notice before:

Code:
W/Zygote ( 125): Class not found for preloading: android.bluetooth.BluetoothAudioGateway
W/Zygote ( 125): Class not found for preloading: android.bluetooth.HeadsetBase
W/Zygote ( 125): Class not found for preloading: android.server.BluetoothA2dpService
W/Zygote ( 125): Class not found for preloading: android.server.BluetoothEventLoop
W/Zygote ( 125): Class not found for preloading: android.server.BluetoothService
It also can't find bt_vendor.conf. Not sure if that actually is causing the problem, seeing as I can't find the same file in v8.5.

Google removed bunch of Bluetooth files from android... I'm working on a fix.

Weird was using LANight 9.3 since release when suddenly trying to access the camera it keeps saying gallery has stopped functioning but when I go to the actual gallery it runs fine.

So I tried clearing the cache for the gallery and what do you know, the camera is working again. Not sure if this is a 4.2 bug? But as long as it's working I guess lol. Going to jump on to 9.4 lots of goodies on improvements thanks Ace.
