I've noted that with TWRP 3.1.1-0, it STILL does not download and update properly.

Even more oddly, the LIneageOS nightly from 20170905 doesn't seem to have downloaded, despite the LineageOS Updater having said so. By that, I mean that /data/data/org.lineageos.updater/app_updates doesn't have the lineage-14.1-20170905-nightly-hltetmo-signed.zip file in it.

I'm about to download, push the file, and then update that way.

Going to hit the OP and see how to submit this issue as well.

Unable To Install TWRP

Have a completely stock N900V on 5.0 w/ the SEPL1 baseband. Tried following the instructions on the LineageOS wiki using Heimdall but I am unable to flash TWRP on the device. I don't have root but the instructions indicate it's not needed. Does the bootloader need to be unlocked? I tried flashing twrp-3.1.1-0-htle.img as mentioned earlier in the thread. I also made sure USB debugging was enabled. Thanks!

I get the following on the Linux machine:
ERROR: Failed to confirm end of file transfer sequence!
ERROR: RECOVERY upload failed!

And the Note 3 shows:
SYS REV CHECK FAIL: No Version
SECURE MAGICCODE CHECK FAIL: recovery

Awesome rom!, got a few issues though

Loving everything about this so far, fast, smooth, and much newer than the 5.0 lolipop I was stuck with until I found this thread.

Issues however I have no NFC at all? werid, or should I expect that on this ROM?
Also I cannot use bluetooth at all...I turn it on and immediately get "Bluetooth share keeps stopping" popup and have to tap "close" and bluetooth turns back off.

I tried to flash baseband firmware earlier to the N900VVRSEPL1_N900VVRSEPL1_Baseband_Firmware.tar linked by alexp1289
But it froze up on the flash and I had to cut it off. Not sure why it didn't flash I used the odin 3.09 also linked.
So I'm still on baseband N900VVRUEOF1.

No NFC I could live with as I almost never use it, but no bluetooth would seriously suck on my daily drive.

Any ideas what I could do?
WiFi works great, cell works fine.
And just to be clear this is a SM-N900V Note 3.

Yes the bootloader does need to be in unlocked and in order to do that you will need to be rooted! I am a Linux fan myself, but unfortunately you will need Windows to do this. You may need to use Odin to go back to OF1 firmware. Search in the n900v General section for a root tool and for the Bootloader Unlock. Two pieces of advice : 1st it is far better to spend 10 hours reading and preparing to do this then it is to spend 20 hours trying to fix your phone when you did it wrong. So read and make sure you understand before you try to do this and have everything downloaded and ready. 2nd Be absolutely certain that your bootloader is unlocked. If you get TWRP installed and your bootloader is not unlocked your phone will not boot unless you reinstall stock recovery.

If you have an aftermarket battery it may interfere with NFC. If you install a custom kernel other than the one that came with this ROM that maybe your Bluetooth issue.

Using the stock battery. No issues earlier today before I flashed this.
I did flash Synergy RC18 kernel. Perhaps that may be jacking up the bluetooth?
If that's the case I think I have to "dirty-flash" my rom to restore the LineageOS kernel? and try bluetooth again.

Thanks for the reply.

Well then I'm not sure about your in NFC problem. That's an issue I may not be able to help you with because I've never experienced it. In the same thread where you found Synergy RC18 do a search for test build number 19. Lineage recently changed part of its ROM and put a module/driver in the kernel instead of the ROM. Synergy test build number 19 was the solution to that change provided by gj86 ( BIG THANKS)! If you need the features of test build number 19 use it and if not use the kernel that came with the ROM. Unless I'm mistaken that is the solution to your Bluetooth problem.

Well I have Synergy-test19.img, not zip. Assuming this has to be flashed differently?
I'd be more inclined to just install this and see if it does the trick. I read elsewhere about test 19 fixing bluetooth for some people.

Just want to be sure about how I use it?

Thanks so much!

Got it figured out

Flashed synergy-test19.img in TWRP 3.1.1 by switching to image flash mode.

Flashed to boot partition.
Re-flashed magisk v14.
wiped cache and dalvik
rebooted and now bluetooth works great!

My only complaint is 5ghz WiFi networks do not show up in the list. You can manually add them but not seeing them is a big problem.......

Does 60fps video recording work for anyone?

Getting stuck on the set up wizard. Any fix for it?

Are you flashing Gapps? Try a clean flash without Gapps then if that works flash Gapps after finishing the setup wizard. I've seen this happen on the LG V500.
