No LTE on ATT with this rom

I am using this rom to access ATT but am having trouble getting LTE. I had a rom on this phone that provided LTE but the main board died and I no longer have the rom and can not find it again. I have tried all of the ATT APN's using GSM/LTE and using Global but I can't seem to get the results I'm looking for. Could you please explain how to fix. My original post was about a sound issue but I found what I had done wrong and corrected it. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you, but actually a question. How did you edit your APN and global settings? Mine are all grayed out. That's the only reason I went back to stock. I have a Verizon phone I use with a Telekom Sim card in Germany.

I went into APN settings and clicked the upper right 3 dots and chose restore settings. Once I did that and rebooted the APN's all showed up and I selected one and rebooted again.

Download 20170719:

https://download.lineageos.org/hltetmo

You also need to have TWRP for hlte installed:

https://dl.twrp.me/hlte/twrp-3.1.1-0-hlte.img.html

And flash that recovery image with flashify:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cgollner.flashify

Don't forget to download a gapps package (arm 7.1):

http://opengapps.org

You need to make sure your Verizon note 3 is on the lastest baseband which is SEPL1 if it's not you needed to flash this using Odin 3.09 here's the baseband file to flash in Odin:

https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=199473

Here's where you get Odin:

http://androidhost.org/PVAIv

Follow the thread link in the OP for support and submitting bugs after flashing lineage.
A noob question. There's a link for twrp and one for flashify. I have a unlocked bootloader, rooted, on OF1 with TWRP already installed. Which do I use to flash the img? TWRP or Flashify

Download TWRP using the link I provided the reason being is because the hltevzw TWRP will not work for the hltetmo builds. After downloading that recovery image use Flashify to flash the image file to your hltevzw because if you try to use Flashify to download the recovery it will try to download hltevzw recovery which will not work.

But this does work for Verizon correct? So if I'm clear on this. I use flashify to flash the different TWRP, then use TWRP to flash the new image? If correct will the version of TWRP not flash my backups down with the other version?

Yes... If you follow the instructions that I just gave you and in the OP you won't have any issues. It would take me too long to explain why the hlte VZW recovery doesn't work for hlte TMO builds. To make a long story short those builds aren't compatible with hltevzw recovery not to mention that hlte VZW recovery has not been updated in a long time which is why nobody uses it anymore. The hlte recovery is like a universal recovery for all note 3 phones and is the most up to date. Hense the reason you need that recovery.

You need to go to the official lineage thread that I linked to in the OP for help.

OS works great, still on OF1 baseband. Only problem is I don't have root. Tried flashing the lineage sure file but root checker says no root. When I try to install SuperSU from the play store it says SU binary occupied. What am I doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

You make me need to activate developers options and activate root there. I assume " lineage sure file " should read lineage SU file. To activate developers options go to Settings/ About phone and tap the build number repeatedly until you get the toast that says developers options activated. Then go to settings /developers options and scroll to root access.

You need to install root via TWRP.

http://www.supersu.com/download

Go there and scroll down and download the latest zip (v2.82). Then boot into TWRP recovery and flash that zip file and your done. Just reboot and enjoy ☺

I don't have signal problems at all but I most definitely get that stupid SIM card pop up every once in a while. Sometimes I have to toggle airplane mode then it's good. Maybe try that.

lineage os has been working flawlessly. Just 1 question it renamed my sdcard SM-SM-iM-=M-qm- etc. Any way of changing that? I have read that the newer versions of android give it numbers which I see in a file explorer but in some I see this cryptic name. Not a big deal just asking.

Okay found the answer. Renamed it in Windows and resolved the odd name.

The development section is for work that YOU are developing, not sharing the work of others. Before posting there, make sure you have read and understood the sticky titled "RULES for posting in Development".

This thread has been moved to the General section as a discussion thread.

Hey guys I didn't think it would happen but for those of you that are still running the sm-n900v we now have official support for lineage OS 7.1.2 merged into hltetmo. The only thing that's required is the hlte recovery not the hltevzw recovery. You have to make sure you're on the latest baseband and just wait till today's official build and it will be in there. Also follow the thread link below and you'll see what I'm talking about. I just tested a test build and my data is working great.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...-0-cm14-trader418-unofficial-t3459973/page427

And this is a screenshot of the test build I'm running just to show proof.

I don't have SEPL1 and the latest Lineage build is working fine on my phone (so far). I used the latest TWRP HLTE recovery to flash the ROM and Gapps. It was nice to upgrade after a year of using Temasek's CM13 which was a great ROM but was killing my battery and RRing occasionally with screen off (battery is outstanding on Lineage BTW). The main downside of the transition was once again, it seems the file structure has changed for external SD cards which made restoring apps and data a bit of a pain initially. Also had a hell of a time getting Viper going. However compared to doing this process in the past, it wasn't so bad. At least we have a stable 7.1 build that gets updates!
