Can't get magisk to work in the latest build, any help? Should I update the baseband? The install script succeeds but the magisk manager app doesn't appear in the list.

You also need to have TWRP for hlte installed:

Don't forget to download a gapps package (arm 7.1):

You need to make sure your Verizon note 3 is on the lastest baseband which is SEPL1 if it's not you needed to flash this using Odin 3.09 here's the baseband file to flash in Odin:

I successfully flashed TWRP via flashyfy, wen i try to make a nandroid backup via TWRP, it backs up only the modem & then reboot to system.
Am on Firmware 5.0,
Baseband OB6,
Rooted,
Unlocked Bootloader.

My memory card 32gb got corrupt in the process hence showing 60mbs, i Google n found solution here https://www.google.com/amp/www.inst...D-card-back-to-the-original-si/?amp_page=true

I downloaded TWRP 3.2.1-1-hlte tar file (Americans ver) from official website (https://dl.twrp.me/hlte/) & successfully flashed it via Odin3_v3. 1 in AP & successfully made my nandroid backup.
Now looking forward to download the lineage rom n flash it

This ROM is working flawlessly! I am using a different kernel to add fast charge and new CPU governors. Heavy use for the past 4 days and no problems at all!

Am really excited.
Finished flashing lineage 7.1, magisk root.
Now my hotspot works without 3rd party (FoxFi), no Verizon card notification.
Now looking forward to flash the kernel.

I flashed OpenGapps Arm 7.1 pico (126mbs) & am still good.....
Am fearing to flash the kernel @fast charging....
Feel like upgrading to Lineage 15 (Oerel) but am fearing too....... has anyone found a stable Oerel?
If i upgrade to Oerel n find it unpleasant, can I roll back to Nougat (Lineage)?

I flashed the kernel & the simcard could not be read, had to reflash full Los 14.1 again

3. My Knox shows 0x0, does that mean its OK?

am on sm-n900v baseband OB6 custom ROM 14.1, is it OK to flash latest firmware (to get latest baseband) with my unlocked bootloader status, n will the bootloader be locked again, n will the CID again start with 15 so as to unlock it again
