lineage official(s) are very stable and reliable.
Might have an issue now and then. Traditionally it is fixed by the next build.

I have a few devices, and believe it or not, I still use my flo as my main "stable" device. The one you grab when you just want to sit-down and read, catch up on xda, surf YouTube, ect..

are you using one of the newer nightlies then?

same here I was stock marshmellow rooted for ages then it got a bit slow

Yep :)

Lineage 14.1 Nightly, OpenGapps and rooted with Magisk.

It looks like I last time I did a "clean" install was back in November. Since then, I have just flashed the weekly updates. Skipping one every now and then.

Can you shed some light.
The Lineage 14 thread seems to be dead here but just like you I also get the LOS updates.
Problem is...how do we find out what the updates are for or fix.

Just curios, is there a ResRemix Rom still active?
thx

Ok thanks I replaced my screen will have to check hardware.

trick I found when changing batteries...don't try to push the cable in instead place the front of cable where it has to go and then go to the other end and run your finger towards the end you want to push in...this will flatten out the ribbon cable and push the end right in for you.

take your time, some tiny cables in there

Update this CM titled thread to LOS (fix links to nightlies)

@mccreary can you take over this thread and update it to LOS? A moderator should be able to do the switch.
Great idea! I'm surprised that the "LineageOS Maintainer of the flo device" (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/flo) is a junior XDA user with 1 post till date!?

I was stumbling about the Lineage 14.1 nightlies on https://download.lineageos.org/flo (last one lineage-14.1-20180726-nightly-flo-signed.zip) and was surprised there is no thread to discuss this build.

I never had to "call" a moderator before. How can I do it? @MikeChannon (Forum Admin) can you jump in and fix the links in the OP?

Well Mccreary hasn't been logged in since April so it's not really going to work giving it to him.

    Reporting bugs
    • DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
    • DO NOT report bugs if you've modifies system files
    • DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
    Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    Code:
    Tablet information:
    * CM version
    * Gapps version
    What you did:
    * Wipe data: y/n
    * Upgrade from previous official cm build: y/n
    * Restore with titanium backup: y/n
    You're using (if yes write which one) :
    * Task killer
    * Phone cleaner / Battery enhancer apps
    * Non-stock kernel
    * Modified kernel settings
    * Other mods
    Bug info:
    * Last version it worked on
    * Repro steps
    F.A.Q.
    • ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
    • First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
    • Why no nightly today?
    • Build failed. Check again tomorrow
    • When do I have to wipe data?
    • You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
    • Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
    • I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.

    The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

    We're on 7.1.1 now, with December 2016 patch. Dirty flashed without issues. Still stable as ever for me. Of course, the boot animation was reverted back to the old one a couple of builds ago.
