So the best way would be to open a new thread for the Lineage 14.1 flo discussion? I'm sure @osm0sis would do it! :) Or @osm0sis could update the OP if you let him do it.

Well a new thread might be good to save confusion/updating changes etc..

That said though, the OP of this thread @forkbomb444 was logged in here yesterday.

Problem being that forkbomb isn't the flo maintainer anymore, and hasn't participated in this thread for a long time. I'm not the maintainer either (nor have I ever had much of anything to do with ROM development) so I also shouldn't be running the thread.

If the mccreary here is the same as Lineage's wiki then he is the maintainer, whether he logs in or not, so technically it should still belong to him. That won't fix the thread updating part of the problem of course, but yeah.

Well it's probably going to be cleaner having a new Lineage discussion thread then, is it not, and include links like:

@MikeChannon - I would think a simple update by you (only thread title and links in the OP) would do the job better. In the N7'13 LTE it is this way: https://forum.xda-developers.com/ne...om-cyanogenmod-14-1-nexus-7-2013-lte-t3501075
@osm0sis - you are the 'Recognized Contributor' and should lead this effort if a new thread should be opened - which will allow LOS14.1 flo users to discuss the builds! :good:

I'm not affiliated with Lineage. I continue to contribute to the discussion here because I'm a user of the ROM, but that's about it. I'll lurk/talk wherever the correct thread is. ;)

Looks like Netflix fixed their L3 WideVine issue (in the latest beta at least - 6.6.0 build 28538), so my lib replacement hack is no longer needed. :)

Edit: Aw, nope! Nevermind. Still happens after watching certain titles awhile. Last Jedi triggered it pretty readily.

Hi, do you still have the issue with Netflix.
Someone at fairphone development bugtracker solved the issue adding files to some folders.

I'll test the new nightly as soon as it's there.

But I've already copied the three *.so files onto the system partition of my phone (also did chmod and chown). And after stopping Netflix and deleting the app data, it's working now!

/system/vendor/lib/libWVStreamControlAPI_L3.so (libWVStreamControlAPI_L3.so
/system/vendor/lib/libwvdrm_L3.so (libwvdrm_L3.so)
/system/vendor/lib/mediadrm/libwvdrmengine.so (libwvdrmengine.so)
Thanks a lot!
Is this still being looked for?
Thanks

Cool! I'll try it out!

Edit: Tried it. Still not working reliably with the latest Netflix. Wouldn't play Big Mouth for example. My workaround with the older app version still works better for this device.

I just installed LOS14.1 official nightly on my Nexus7 2013 flo and everything is working great so far except doing CPU temp monitoring in the status bar.

I used TempMonitor 3.1.0 by Dustinmj to show the CPU temp with CM13 and now it does not work. The temp sensor does work with 14.1 since Kernel Adiutor (ROOT) shows both CPU and battery temps.

If I do:
adb shell
su
setenforce 0

The SElinux mode changes from enforcing to permissive and the TempMonitor CPU temp appears in the status bar. But rebooting changes the mode back to enforcing. In addition to the reboot issue, I prefer staying with enforcing for security.

I've read the Nougat 7.0 Android prevents non-root CPU temp monitors from working. But what is weird is I have a Moto E4 with LOS14.1 unofficial by squid2 and TempMonitor 3.1.0 works fine on the moto. Is it the different kernels (nexus7=3.4.0 vs motoe4=3.1.8) that causes this?

Is there a way to configure my Nexus7 with 14.1 to allow TempMonitor to run but keep SElinux set to enforcing?

Or, is there another lightweight CPU temperature monitor app for the status bar that works better on this 14.1?

Latest build fixed latest netflix for me. Was able to even play the new Black Mirror episode that has user interaction.

Don't have the DRM blobs flashed, just using Magisk v18.0 and using Magisk hide.

I'm trying to download the snapshot built but the link in OP is not working. I only see nightlies on the official download page, is there no snapshot build for flo?

Really? I'm using the latest version of Netflix and I can only watch shows unavailable in HD without getting error 5.7. I'm assuming it's an issue with DRM, since the app DRM Info says that my tablet can only use up to Widevine L1 (480p). I bet the error is caused by Netflix assuming that because my tablet is a Nexus 7 (2013) it should be able to stream Widevine L3. Did you flash DRM blobs or something?

    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    • ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
    • First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
    • Why no nightly today?
    • Build failed. Check again tomorrow
    • When do I have to wipe data?
    • You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
    • Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
    • I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.

The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

We're on 7.1.1 now, with December 2016 patch. Dirty flashed without issues. Still stable as ever for me. Of course, the boot animation was reverted back to the old one a couple of builds ago.
