Introduction:
LineageOS is a free, community-built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.x (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restores the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Code:
#include "std_disclaimer.h"
/*
 * Your warranty is now void.
 *
 * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
 * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
 * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
 * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
 * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
 * I have not tested every single stuff in the ROM, stuff can and will be broken
 * Whatever I know is broken is mentioned below, don't blame me if something doesn't work.

EXTRAS

RECOVERY
TWRP(official): https://forum.xda-developers.com/ma...ecovery-twrp-asus-zenfone-max-pro-m2-t3917145
LineageRecovery(unofficial): https://sourceforge.net/projects/kubersharma001/files/X01BD/lineage-recovery/

PERSONAL/UNOFFICIAL BUILDS
https://sourceforge.net/projects/kubersharma001/files/X01BD/lineage-16.0/

GAPPS
Look here: https://wiki.lineageos.org/gapps.html
recommended: Android-9.0 arm64 pico/nano
Stock GApps may include Pixel's GoogleCamera which might crash as it works on Pixels only

GCAMs(ports):
https://sourceforge.net/projects/ku...BD/GCAM_Mod/Gcam_6.2.030_P_X01BD.apk/download
UPDATE: Any GCAM which works fine in stock pie should work fine here as well!
Sometimes front cam may not take a pic in Google Camera Mod. A trick is you switch to the rear camera, take one pic and switch back to front cam, it will be working. REMEMBER: This is on P blobs and you will need the latest Pie firmware!

KERNEL
Builds from November 2019 (and all the OFFICIAL builds) use LineageOS/asus_sdm660 common kernel
People who asked to use the previous kernel based on https://github.com/X01BD/android_kernel_asus_X01BD can get the builds from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/kubersharma001/files/X01BD/kernel/

ROOT
You can use Magisk or addonsu-arm64 to root the device

BUGREPORTING
Always report bugs with proper logs and steps to reproduce.
Bug reports after Magisk, Xposed, Custom Kernels or mods of any kind are NOT ACCEPTED!

Solid ROM but...

Facing issues in Gcam , not Woking on portrait modes and pics captured are not saved anywhere even with default cam. Same with latest Arrow and some new custom ROMs. Best ROM was Arrow 20th Feb version.

Pls revert any changes done for cam after 20th Feb , need opinions of other members as well.

Other than That great ROM .

Supeeeerb, i like this team so much. Theys build's stability is improving every update, the build quality itself is more than stock, don't know how they can compete with them. but i know it isn't magic, great effort makes a best quality product.

Here is my quick review after using the latest build for 2 days.
1. Super stable ROM, No FCs anywhere.
2. Excellent Battery life. Might just be better than stock itself.
3. Gaming performance is top notch.
4. No network issues, Although the signal strength might look like fluctuating but it actually isnt. Just a cosmetic bug i guess.
5. Gcam working. I am using the latest build from arnova. Front cam still closes the app. Night sight is exceptionally good for low light photos.

Things that didnt work for me.
1. LED notifications.
2. Face unlock.

This is a super stable ROM that can be used as a daily driver. Waiting for future builds to iron out few small bugs mentioned above. This is my third custom ROM installation after trying out Superior OS and Pixel
