Hello, I have a problem, shazam cannot recognize songs unless there is a cabled headset connected. It is like it cannot use the onboard mic. I have allowed the mic permission. Any clue on how to fix that?

Problems after August 24th update

I don't know what could be the cause of it (already updated twrp and redownload the updates) but since the update released the 25th of August the device stays in the boot screen until what looks that is successfully booted with the boot animation sends me back to recovery mode. I have to go back to the 24th August update in order to use it.

I'm unable to get Bluetooth gamepads working with this ROM. It'll pair, but it won't be detected in any app.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any solutions?

EDIT: It was my fault, I had the controller in the wrong mode. Got it working. ROM continues to be perfect.

Hey @DD3Boh I have been using Lineage 16.0 since a couple of months now and its just nothing but fantastic. Its just great both in terms of UI fluidity, Battery efficiency and Performance as well. But there is one thing I noticed in Changes for Zuk z2 is nothing but the dump of Changes for all devices. And the changes in zuk z2 has commits meant for different devices. For example
'android_kernel_essential_msm8998' which is meant for essential device only. R u really including these commits I mean, what would be the benefit of including the one which r not at all related to our device? Is it just to show big change log? Real change log not posted?
I had this doubt so just wanted to ask. I am in no way being rude. I respect all devs working for nothing in return, while giving their precious time. Sorry for long post. Please solve my doubts.

The thing is that lineage website basically shows every change that has been merged on Gerrit (review.lineageos.org), so it shows any change in any repo.
Of course we aren't including essential device trees and kernels, so we don't have those changes. The changes we include are the ones to zuk device specific repos, and platform repos.
I hope to have been clear and understandable enough

Thanks for the quick reply. Got it, I was just wondering why they show up in zuk z2 build changelog. All the best for lineage 17.0 and other projects.

Guys I got the latest Lineage OS 16 build 20190923 yesterday for my Z2 Plus. Everything is working fine except one issue.
Whenever I connect my Phone to my computer I don't get any option to its storage in My Computer. I tried File transfer when connected and Photo transfer as well but nothing shows up in My Computer when I connect the phone.
Tried with both USB Debugging enabled and disabled but the same issue persists. As a result I'm not able to transfer any of my pictures or files to my Z2 plus.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

Are drivers properly installed? Have you tried connecting to other pc?

The drivers are the same as they were prior to installing this OS when it worked. I do not have a secondary pc.

check if device listed at least in Device Manager after connecting, if drivers are broken then it will be listed as Unknown Device at least. if not in both then connection is not made properly or cable might be broken. check if other phone is getting connected with same cable. u can also try connection while u r in recovery.

I think the drivers are correct but I've gone ahead and taken screenshots of what the Device Manager looks like when my phone is connected under various modes for you to check:

I am currently on latest build of LOS Pie and it's very good. I am wondering if a few features can be added by developer.
1. Ability to configure no. of rows and columns
2. A Volte Icon (HD Icon will do too) or at least a workaround to get it
3. Screen Recorder recording internal audio only
4. Fix for Pixel launcher crashes on first boot (still crashing) using lawnchair now

Also a few days back flashed a nougat ROM after long and felt the temps to be significantly less than Pie ROMs. I hope there could be a fix

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

How to flash treble roms having /factory instead of /vendor?

    * First time custom rom flasher/ coming from ZUI / Never flashed treble rom / Never flashed factory2vendor patch
    1. Flash Treble TWRP ( which supports /factory )
    2. Flash ROM + GApps etc

    * Coming from roms for which you had done factory2vendor conversion

    1. Flash Vendor2factory zip
    2. Flash new TWRP with /factory support
It will work for both non treble like zui , and treble roms having /factory instead of vendor support
    ( https://twrp.me/zuk/zukz2.html )
    3. IMPORTANT STEP : Reboot to new TWRP
    4 Flash rom
    5. No need to wipe if coming from same rom

    Or
    1. Flash ZUI via QFIL
    2. Flash TWRP ( which supports /factory )
