I use page plus cellular (shows up as Tracfone) who uses the Verizon network.

Verizon has permanently shutdown CDMA.
Calls now use voice over LTE.

I can not get phone calls to work.

Any ideas ?

Did you try another SIM or contacted the provider to have your device reprovisioned?

Data works for internet.
I always have the VoLTE turned on in LineageOS settings.

I did try removing SIM, reinserting SIM, and rebooting.

With DATA working OK, I do not think it is the SIM.

When I try to make a cell phone call
there is a delay of maybe 10 seconds
then the error displayed is.
"Mobile Network not available"

I think the LineageOS needs some changes for
PagePlusCellular (shows up as Tracfone)

I prefer continuing to use LineageOS
rather than go back to the last old
Google stock OS.

I might switch to Verizon prepaid (costs more than page plus cellular).

Are phone calls working on pixel xl lineageos latest version and Verizon ?

I installed Google dialer so I can use the */*/4636/*/* hidden menu

It says "emergency calls only."
Also said provisioned for volte

Does this mean I need to ask pageplus cellular for a new SIM card ?

Everything working fine so far except I installed the Google phone app but don't see call screening in the settings menu. It auto declined robo calls.

I flashed the version 18.1 from 2022-10-19, and after sideloading I rebooted to recovery (not OS!), then sideloaded the MindTheGapps MindTheGapps-11.0.0-arm64-20220217_100228.zip

But now I have no ringtones or notification sounds installed.

Edit: I noticed that the system was finishing the setup (notification), after that all it good.

Hi I have this same issue with no sounds. I think I had it when I first installed but now I don't a few days later? Which setup are you referring to

There's no one maintaining these anymore and they're wayyyy out of date.

So...still nobody can confirm LineageOS pixel XL makes volte phone calls on Verizon network ?

Straight Talk ?
Tracphone ?
PagePlus ?

You must be new to computer programming.
Absolutely nothing works until it is tested and fixed where needed.
I've known this my entire IT career.


I will switch to another Verizon network provider, if correct function can be verified...by someone...anyone.

So I have a phone which currently can not do the basic function of a phone. No Calls and texts.

So, I am using Google voice on Verizon network LTE data.

I only get a good signal at home from Verizon network.

Maybe eventually someone will recommend a Verizon network provider (or verizon itself) that is known to work with this LineageOS pixel xl for volte calls and texts.

I will be patient and wait.

Dude lol, I'm the one that developed this, I'm the one who posted the OP, I tested this thoroughly, including on Verizon, we made the IMS stack match 1:1 with stock and matched up all of the missing bits and pieces.

It works, I tested it.

What I'm trying to convey to you - with this setup, and the way it is setup, if one of the carriers has functional VoLTE, the same routing is used, so anything that works on stock (VoLTE and Wifi Calling wise) will work here.

Good day everyone,

I am not able to get past the setup screen, Once I connect to wifi from a clean install it says theres no connection yet its connected? I am gonna try last month build ideas? thanks

    Introduction:
    This is the Official Lineage OS 18.1 thread for the Google Pixel XL.

    Downloads:
    Please follow the install instructions in your device's Wiki page linked below exactly, and make sure your device's firmware matches the required firmware listed.
    If you don't follow these instructions, or use 3rd party add-ons (like Magisk) please don't expect support here.

    Known Bugs:
    • Sound Trigger (Screen-off "Hey Google" detection) is nonfunctional due to incompatibilities with older proprietary binaries, and lack of system space for needed Google Apps.
    • Find any? Report them according to this guide.
    Notes:
    • Firmware is shipped in the ROM package for this device, so no need to worry about updating it on your own!
    • The only supported GApps package at the moment is OpenGApps pico, linked on our Wiki page about gapps.

    Collective response to all of these:

    IMS (VoLTE/VoWIFI) doesn't work on 11 ROMs for sailfish/marlin - not PE, not Lineage, not anything at the moment.

    Legacy devices have IMS die at some point usually - ours just broke sooner than expected.

    I hope to fix it someday, but given it's an old proprietary implementation with no documentation, the chances are low.

    G6 has more modern and compatible blobs to kang, and it _just to happens_ to work.

    Tl;DR: Chances IMS will every work for marlin above Android 10 are really, really low.
