[OFFICIAL] LineageOS 18.1 for the Moto Z2 Play

Manged to install lineage-18.1-20221226-nightly-albus-signed.zip and lineage-18.1-20221226-recovery-albus.img on my moto-z2-Play XT1710-09 64G P4.
Previously I was running a AICP aicp_albus_r-16.1-WEEKLY-20220205.zip.
Everything is working, The Lineage recovery flashed to the device and works great when selected "RECOVERY MODE" in the android-bootmenu.

How is everyone doing this? I've tried and tried and tried and all I get after a 20 minute boot is an error message "Your file must be defective". But I've tried it with multiple versions and files.

Phone was already rooted, and on Resurrection Remix.

Hi All,
I have recently updated my Moto Z2 Play XT1710-10 model with LineageOS 18.1 as per instructions and builds provided on LineageOS official website. I have tried both builds available on this website.
I have downloaded required files (recovery img file, OS v18.1 file) and followed every step as specified in the Installation Instructions.
After successful installation of both recovery image and OS zip file, phone is unable to boot. It restarts continuously at startup and stuck in bootloop mode.
I have attached a video file for understanding the issue more clearly.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

What was the last stock version installed?
Did you use TWRP or LOS recovery?

Well you've got a problem to begin with. A10+ roms on albus REQUIRE Pie firmware, so that will break things outright.
LOS Recovery is the only one validated for installing LOS, you can try TWRP but YMMV.
Also, flashing Gapps without first confirming successful boot is a no-no, it's better to boot the rom first to see if everything is working ok, then going back into recovery, formatting data again and then flashing gapps to isolate issues

Right now, I tried with LineageOS 16.1 ( Android 9 ) package with TWRP, its now booting and works fine at the moment.
Can I just update to newer LineageOS versions after this?

4k recording is expected as the camera itself doesnt actually support it; it's some hack moto did in stock that it's impossible to recreate.
However the multisim stuff is concerning; can you get me the prop ro.vendor.hw.dualsim?,persist.radio.multisim.config and ro.telephony.default_network too please

@marcost22 Since you're still active here and there are monthly updates, could you look to fix notification light? Is it not possible in this ROM? Worked in any other custom I used including maintained by you.
