For those who want to get valid SafetyNet and GPay. In Magisk you need to turn on Zygisk and DenyList. And you need to install kdrag0n's "universal safetynet fix" module and maybe "magiskhide props config". After that, I added the file that was written for 18.1 here, and now SafetyNet with GPay passes the test.

Great you made LOS19 for Pixel 2!
After upgraged from LOS18.1 (freshly installed) to LOS19 (2022-05-03) I had some surprises (mainly because I did not check changelog form Android 11 to 12 before instead thought everything is more or less the same in UI) - but some remarks:
  1. I got within my first 10 minutes work 2-3 times the "standard error message" if an app crashes: "intent filter verification" "app is repeated closed [App information | Close App]". It mainly shows up once after boot up and opening main setting menu and just scrolling down. App Information states "com.android.statementservice" version 1.0 - quick search could not explain me the intention of this, and if it is leaking data to external servers which was not present in LOS18 ... ? Anyone? And why it crashes?
  2. sometimes the search feature of the main setting menu did not worked (typed a search word, but nothing happend). After going back to settings and searched again it worked.
  3. all entries in main settings are "stretched" vertically in comparison to 18.1 ... more space for less information :-/ Anything to adjust?
  4. can I bring back the only piece of color within the main setting screen - or is now black/white the new color as system symbols in settings? :-(
  5. directly after booting LOS19 has some noticeable network load - I never noticed in LOS18 with same installed apps - any idea if there is a intended difference? (Don't want to use additionaly apps to have a deeper look in this)?
That are the points I noticed first ... maybe some will follow.
Any remarks/solutions for this? All other features in princibal seems to work well.

New Pixel 2 user here. I got one very cheap and wow, what an upgrade compared to my late Samsung S5 Neo!!!

I see some bugs, which I might report some day, but because I use the microG build, which gets fewer upgrades, those might be solved already. And I think this microG build isn't supported here?

I have a question though: On the top right corner, next to the clock, there appears a colored dot from time to time. What does this dot indicate? I don't get it and cannot find a correlation to anything. Asking online search engines didn't reveal this to me unfortunately.

The battery life seems really good and I love the fact that the kernel supports battery idle mode. With this and the AccA app I can safe the unfortunately unremovable battery. Like I said, what an upgrade compared to the S5 Neo! :)

The colored dot that you are referring to was most likely green. It is an indicator that you are using your microphone or camera and/or you have granted access to them.
Thank you OP for a great build! I am enjoying this very much on my Pixel 2 - my One Plus 8 Vzw is still on Android 11.

Yes. double tap is working on the status bar. After installation, the first boot bottom swipe gesture is not working, after restarting only it works. And also Memory takes 8.5 GB for this OS. Why? is it normal? In crdriod takes only 2 GB.

Everything working on the unofficial except Snapchat. Is there a way to get Snapchat working? Thanks again for the hard work!

EDIT: seems to work after a few reboots, I think the system reporting as android 11 allowed the check to pass.

Thanks for the new release! At a glance widget is more working fine for me!

But still crashing on "wallpaper and theme" settings. Anything I can do to help fix the issue?

Managed to upgrade from LOS 18.1 to this LOS 19.1 without wipe data using the official guide.
So far everything seems working fine except there is some weird noise (sounds like electrical noise or the sound when your phone vibrate while resting on top of a bunch of coins... if you know what I mean...) whenever there is a vibration (e.g. notification vibration).

It feels like the vibration intensity maybe too strong for the motor but I don't see anywhere that can adjust the intensity. Anyone else having the same issue?

For the time being I have to turn off the notification vibration, but sometimes other types of vibration may trigger this issue also.

Same here. Wallpaper And Theme crashing and if I try to change a ringtone it also crashes.

I also cannot install Chrome. Chrome Beta installs successfully.

Other than that, It seems very nice!!

Right! Got the same issue with ringtones.

Chrome did not install the first time but it's now ok for me.

Actually wallpaper is working, I made some confusion? Or maybe it didn't work and then started working... who knows...

But ringtones is not oK... The crash is a good indicator:

I have tried installing the official nightly build of LineageOS 19 on Google Pixel 2 and it seems to work mostly correctly.

However, I have noticed that the gesture navigation did not work at all immediately after installing. I could select it and there was no error message on the screen but no gesture at all was recognized so I could not perform any kind of navigation and I had to revert back to button-based navigation.

Then, after a few reboots due to installing Magisk and some of its modules, I have tried enabling gesture navigation again. And then it worked without an issue. I am not sure why.

Hello,
I upgraded from 18.1, the ROM worked fine. But since the last update I experience a strange bug : when I turn the phone on it runs into a bootloop. The booting process is complete, but when I arrive to the "Enter PIN" screen, it flickers and reboots to recovery. The only way I found to turn on the phone has been to remove the SIM and it accepts to boot only if it is plugged in to a computer (!). Then I can do whatever I want, except insert the SIM, but if I unplug the phone it crashes immediately. I removed magisk and everything that could cause the problem, but to no avail. And TWRP for Android 12 is not ready yet, so I cannot wipe cache/Dalvik (which is the first thing I would have done otherwise). This cannot be done from LOS recovery.
This is very strange. Not the first time I experience difficulties with LOS, but I had never seen that so far. I am quite reluctant to make a factory reset : from what I see the situation is not critical, as I have been able to boot the phone.
Any tips ?

@Onesimos89 , I should have read your message before updating. I've run into the same problem. It looks like com.android.phone keeps crashing. You can get a bit of connectivity by disabling the sim pin.

Is it possible to downgrade to a previous version? I don't see an option to format /system and simply sideloading a previous version of lineageos results in an error saying something like "downgrades aren't allowed" (I don't have the exact message right now, sorry)

edit: This is a serious bug which unfortunately is also in the microg version, which doesn't get updated as regularly. Where can I report this to those guys? A downgrade would really help!

Hey all! The final 19.1 unofficial are rolling right now.

From here on it will be 20 builds for these devices only when it comes to unofficials.

The device will continue receiving official 19.1 for some time, but 20 will launch soon enough, so get ready to migrate using the upgrade guides!

It's literally a brand new sealed in box old stock phone.

    Camera worked fine before lineage.
I really don't know what to tell you. On Official 19.1 and Unofficial 19.1 (my builds), camera works fine.

Google Camera will only work on my builds, as Pixel 2 support was dropped in Google Camera in a past version. I pin that version for Pixel 2 builds specifically.
    2
Have you read the last few posts? No, it's not all that stable yet.

And what do you mean by "good customization"? It's quite subjective what one considers good or bad. There are other ROMs with much more customization capabilities than official LineageOS. For me personally it's absolutely enough, for you it might not be.
It is stable. No one is filing any bug reports, nor can I recreate any of this. Literally all of this works on both the Pixel 2 and 2 XL in my testing.

If you're having issues like that, did you follow the wiki? Did you format data before you came to 19? What mods do you use?

    And logs/bug tickets would help.

But statistically, hundreds and hundred of people are using 19.1 for wahoo and enjoying so it's either an edge or device specific case.

I just tried this and it all works except the Camera. When trying to open it, I'm getting

    Camera keeps stopping
    - App info
    - Close app

Any idea why that might be?
New build is up - fixed.
