The change log says, a tile for system profiles has been added in the latest update, but I still can't find it.

So I installed this last week and the main issue I'm having is that messages will not come through to the device without unlocking the phone. I have auto retrieve messages on and while roaming. I have the no Gapps setup. Any suggestions on how to get the messages to notify me?

Hi there - Is it possible to have the AOD not only on or off, but with these two options available in original ROM (intelligent AOD)?
Thank you, and BR

Look at the wiki upgrade guide for your specific device, but we support upgrades on all devices

I read the wiki, when I decided to upgrade my P4. The problem is: that wiki is talking about wiping the device, which means loosing everything and having to install and set up ever thing again. The procedure you told me prevented me from having my hole phone to be set up again ans it saved me hours of work! :)

Now, my question is, whether this painless kind of upgrading can be done on the P4a the same way, so that the owner of the device can continue his work right after the upgrade like I could.

The upgrade guide.

Not the install guide

Yes, I see it. Have these pages been updated recently? I could swear I read about wiping the system as part of the upgrade process. Or maybe I am just getting too old for this electric new nonsense, as Mr. Burns would call it. :)

But thanks a lot for showing me my wrong!

Some very old devices require wiping on upgrade, but nothing that's relatively new, for example the one plus one requires wipe on upgrade

Fabulous Rom...🔥🔥
Absolute stability and smoothness...
Huge thanks to developer🤟🤟 @npjohnson for this amazing LOS...
Buddy I am getting an issue regarding installation of Viper4Android rootless driver zip..
First I installed the zip file through recovery and smoothly gets installed but whenever I download the apk v4a , it shows driver not installed and required root permission...
I have also installed viper on other devices (some redmi devices) too and they works great on them...
Why is it not installing in pixel...and I tried almost every versions of apks...

I don't know if these two little issues are specific to the p4, if not, please feel free to put this comment into the correct forum.

When using split screen, two things are striking:

- the corners at the middle of the screen, where the two screens conncet, should not be rounded, because some information gets lost "under" the rounded area

- the app occupying the lower screen always makes the navigation bar solid instead of transparent, as in full screen mode

Icon shape not updating. A possible bug?

If one goes into display -> icon shape, choose another icon shape. The system never updates to the chosen icon shape?

Does anyone have NFC payments working? I flashed the latest Unofficial, which says "passes SafetyNet" but wasn't allowed to add a card to Wallet.

fastboot flash boot <recovery_filename>.img
Really that command above for flashing the recovery?
I try the device can't boot to recovery

Maybe the command is fastboot flash recovery<recovery_filename>.img for recovery not boot(kernel)

Follow the wiki guide - it is correct. You flash to boot, not recovery - this device is A/B.

Great news! Thanks for bringing Android 12 to this device!

I just reading the installation instructions and there are some questions:

    1. The instructions don't mention wiping the system/data partition. Does this mean that my device will work as before, that I will not have to reinstall my apps and data after upgrading? My device is neither rooted, nor do I use anything like Magisk.

    2. The instructions say:

"Note: If you previously had any Google Apps add-on package installed on your device, you must install an updated package before the first boot of Android! If you did not have Google Apps installed, you must wipe the Data partition (or perform a factory reset) to install them."

That confuses me: when I installed LOS 18.1, I also installed the MtG package, that was available for the P4 at that time. After that, I never installed anything else via adb, I only updated what was offered in the PlayStore or by the OTA updater function.

How should I interpret that instruction:

    A) I need to install the latest MtG, that is available for LOS 18.1, and then I can install LOS 19 plus MtG for LOS 19.

    B) Installing LOS 19 plus the appropriate MtG at the same time (=before the first booting) is sufficient to make the system work again.

Thanks in advance for any help!
reboot to recovery, flash newest ROM, reboot to recovery, flash MTG 12.1 - reboot to OS - done.

Hello guys...does this rom support VoLTE or VoWi-Fi? I don't know why, but if i insert the same SIM into my other phone, i have both of these services active...but not in my Pixel phone.
If stock supports it for your carrier, then yes. If not, no.

Hey all! The final 19.1 unofficial are rolling right now.

From here on it will be 20 builds for these devices only when it comes to unofficials.

The device will continue receiving official 19.1 for some time, but 20 will launch soon enough, so get ready to migrate using the upgrade guides!
