Hello,

My issue on startup with alert slider position "not respected" by the ROM has disappeared.
Kinda weird, but I take it :D

So you should be on 10.1 stock before flashing this???
Same is with Los19 right?

Pretty excited to see this thread. :)

One question: In the first post, the version says says "stable". However under Downloads I only find a nightly build. Is this considered stable in LOS or should I just wait a few days more?

Google Nexus 4
Google Nexus 5
Upgraded from LOS 19.1 just now, without any issues.
Via TWRP 3.7.0, wiped System+Cache+Dalvik and then Flashing the LOS 20, MindTheGapps x64 and Magisk 25.2.
All seems working. Many thanks to the developers.

Oh man I'm so glad I finally found this thread I've been trying to get this flashed properly for days... I really hope someone can help!!

I've got my A5000 finally sorted with Lineage 20 nightly and gapps and all is fine... except... there's no WiFi and no mobile data.

I'm assuming it's something to do with the persistent or vendor partitions but I don't know for *certain*. I've sought help from Lineage IRC and discord but the advice was to extract the firmware from the oxygen updates and I'm not clever enough for that. I did flash that update as suggested -- but it didn't work. I looked for help from other places too but so much info is totally out of date these days -- websites still talking about cyanogen....

Can someone half-smart please share me a few pointers to get this sorted out?

The device comes up okay but just can't find any wireless networks and then disables wifi without instructions to do so.

Hi all,

Finally got my A5000 upgraded to LOS20 using LOS recovery and ADB sideload: first failed with "lineage-20.0-20230102-nightly-cheeseburger-signed" (error E1001: failed to update system...) but then success with "lineage-20.0-20221231-nightly-cheeseburger-signed" !
(then OK for upgrading to 20230102 by using LOS updater)

MindTheGapps-13.0.0 Ok too, everything seems OK and functional.

Just want to share my upgrade experience, may be useful for some users ?
Sorry, it's my 1st post :)

Hi There, I upgraded my A5000 from LOS 19.1 via TWRP 3.7.0. It works great. However like in LOS19 Fingerprint is still not working.
Above there was the hint: "you should be on 10.1 stock before flashing"
Yes, you should do so. (only officially supported method)
So far searching the web, I could not find a way to restore stock rom. Where may I download stock rom files?

You can go though the source code and build it yourself if you dont trust it, but I completely trust this rom. The weak point is most likely human, so either a weak password, that just was guessed/bruit-forced or you clicked a wrong link (or installed a wrong app?). Also possible is a data breach or so.

Could also be a person with a similar-ish email just had a typo when trying to log in?

official releases (on download.lineageos.org) are weekly. and no, i meant 19.1, as 20 is not official just yet. i added the fix, but you'll only get it on the next release.
it seems lineage 20 is not far off now though

okay, another update -- see the first post!

I just checked, seems the LOS settings has vanished, and I cannot find it anywhere. Am I missing something?
there has never been a "LOS settings" section, they're integrated into their respective sections of android

    Hello everyone.

Everything looks good on my side.
Except for one little thing, which was not behaving this way on stock ROM and Lineage 19/19.1 :
The alert slider position is not recognized when booting the phone, so even if I am on vibrate/silent, the software sets the phone on "ringtone" position (I'm French I'm not sure about the exact names of the positions in English, but you should get it :) )

Can't wait for it to become official!
doesn't happen for me, so a bit hard to find an error there...
