[OFFICIAL] LineageOS 20 for OnePlus 5 (cheeseburger)

Hi, thanks for this overall nice rom.
I report here but I think it's correct, I use DivestOS 20, which is just little security softs on top LineageOS 20. On top of that, I find my main problem to be common on OnePlus-es running different LineageOS versions.

I) My phone won't connect to 4G/LTE, (except by selecting special radio modes that don't work either). I just replied here(1) that I found it may be related with the missing UMTS mode in the radios selections. I'm in europe and t seems I need this mode for proper 2/3/4G connections.

I tried flashing stock's (OxyOS 9, and OxyOS 10-latest-beta) firmwares, extracted with Oneplus Firmware Extractor (2) to look like a solution, by reflashing stock radio / boot.img, but it has proven to
be unsuccessful.

II) Since I put a SIM in the phone, it reboots randomly, sometimes every 5~20 mins, sometimes 1h.
I've made an adb bugreport, and last error before "LAST KMSG' -" was :
"@1 icnss: QMI modem shutdown request rejected result:1 error:57"

EDIT : I forgot to flash OxygenOS 10's firmwares, and after doing it, it seemed fixed, but I was just lucky to get 4G for the next minutes. After a while, I was back to only getting Edge connection.
After that last flash, I still got my 1st random reboot after ~50mins, and since then more often.

LTE/TDSCDMA/GMS/WCDMA or global seems to give the best results despite above behaviour.

But there is still no UMTS seen in the mode list. Can you implement UMTS support some day ?

I also have the "fullscreen app logo after switching" bug.

By the way, why is there a boot.img file in the lineageos.org downloads section, but it is not referred to in the wiki's install guide, is it to help getting root ?

I can serve as an active tester if you want.

Do you have another hint on the reboots reasons ? I didn't find the same error before my LAST KMSG, see new bugreport.

Does anyone know if there's a setting in Lineage OS 20 that allows you to only turn on the capacitive button backlight when the buttons are pressed?

Back in lineage 19 I don't think this was a feature you can either have on during touch (including screen touch) and off always.

Yes, it is in "Settings > System > Buttons > Backlight". You can also disable it completely.
(All this least on DivestOS, but I"m sure it's the same).

I remember back in lineageOS 19 the original maintainer decided to not take the commit so it wasn't there it was available on ressurection and crdroid though cause it showed up in their commit history.

Update on YouTube full screen and no wallpaper for lockscreen bug.

-I see dark background lockscreen only when my phone wakes up with a WhatsApp notification.

-getting out of fullscreen youtube probably because of onscreen navigation buttons since neither fullscreen button nor settings button work when that bug happens and they are both at the bottom at screen, where there normally would be navigation buttons (home, back, recent apps). Yes, I use onscreen navigation buttons because my phones default back button gets stuck sometimes.

UPDATE 2: That black lockscreen wallpaper is not just about whatsapp. Everytime my screen wakes up by a notification, same thing happens.

Hi, it is asked to report here our bugs, so my guess is they answer only if our bug is in their scope, and they have time, and maybe when they have results.

For my case I think it may be a hardware problem, wrong baseband for my country, but it must be confirmed.

For your case, it could be that you use apps that requires Google Play Services which don't comes bundled in default LineageOS, so you have to flash it somehow for full support of those apps. Or maybe did you flash some kind of Gapps ?

Okay now I can reproduce the bug AND I recorded a video while it's occuring.
Before that, I started a screen record. Then:


-I watched a video in fullscreen(It happnes on both MX Player and YouTube, doesn't matter)
-I locked my screen with physical button.
-Waited for 1 min(1 min and 14 seconds)
-Unlocked my phone
-Bottom half of my screen was unresponsive EVEN THO screen recorded my touches(as you can see in the video)

I think you meant to reply to someone else, right? Because I don't think my problem has anything to do with Gapps.

When I fulscreened a youtube video in Brave Browser and almost immediately got back to original window, navigation buttons got to the top of the screen.

Also, sometimes, spotify's lockscreen widget?s "rewind 15 seconds" button doesn't respond.

I installed that update too but didn't have any problem with Google play services.

Tho, navigation bar got broken even more. I guess they don't read bug reports

I went and did a factory wipe. And then reflashed and it's working okay, so far.

Fullscreen web videos are broken.

Navigation bar buttons disappear and only reappear in the screen context changes

Edit: apparently, Fullscreen bug is related to brave browser itself

Amazing, beautiful ROM. So fast. Much wow. I'm so stoked to use it. Kudos. Seriously amazing.

I have a bit of a bug. Please advise what you would recommend. I've wiped everything a couple times, still have it: When the screen times out (user idle) and goes off, it will stay off for only about 2 seconds and then back on it comes. And so it loops. Forever. Basically, it won't put itself to sleep / lock. When I manually lock it by double-tapping or otherwise, it stays locked. (Even if the screen pops on when I plug/unplug, it will go back.) But idle time-out seems to send it in a loop.

... Update: apparently this behaviour is only a thing if you don't have a screen lock set? As soon as I set one it started playing ball. My bad. Still, odd. ... Also now I notice someone pointed this out in February. Nevermind.

Try to wipe /data (and maybe /sdcard).
