seems to be happening on the April 18 update too. looks like it's related to the pixel launcher crashing. when i first open the recents tab after update it shows that pixel launcher stopped working. i use Nova as my default, tried to change it back to the default pixel launcher, it works but the recents tab is still bugged out. please help if anyone knows any solution.

you did not read the first post: this thread is for lineage related discussion only. with our launcher, this problem does not exist. you could try the nikgapps thread, maybe they can help you.

I'm really sorry, i thought the OS itself shipped with pixel launcher. looks like nikgapps just removes the lineage os launcher altogether too. thanks for the info, I'll go ask around there. sorry to bother you. love the work you do for the 5t community.

oh wow, I'm very embarrassed now . i didn't have to ask around in the nikgapps forum, apparently there's already an update fixing this issue. if any others have similar issues with task list not working with nikgapps, just flash it's latest version, that fixed it for me. sorry again and thanks for pointing me the right way.

Hi, all 5T users. I am still on official lineage 18.1. Everything works for me apart from security patches being old. Is this LOS20 a big improvement? Is it stable enough to replace good old LOS 18.1? Thanks.


Also, how do I flash the newest firmware on dumpling? I switched from Android 9 to LOS 18.1 but there was Android 10 as a last update from Oneplus. Thanks.

Hi, the clock works fine with resizing in analog mode, but in digital mode, the min size is 3x3, not 3x2, as described and takes up a lot of screen.

Someone knows if you can intall the token on Itau app ( banking app). In AOSP 12 It always crashed during facial recognition the the following message:

Hi, thanks for updating this ROM.

I'm on the May 2. Update and sometimes my phone just locks up and becomes totally unresponsive. Only holding the power button to power cycle it helps at this point. Are there any logs I can provide to help find why this is happening, or is it already a known problem?

I'm on offical lineageos 18.1 on all 3 of my devices - OnePlus 5T, OnePlus 8T and Samsung Tab S5e.

I can see no actual reason to "upgrade" at present, and I have no plans to do so. The look and feel of android 12+ is enough to make anyone buy an iPhone, before we even talk about the ridiculous and retrograde features.

All this talk of security patches is utter bilge, also. According to the doom merchants, we are all going to die a lingering death if we do not keep constantly updating the base OS.

Well my health is AOK. And everything works nicely, including TWRP, Magisk, safety-net-fix &etc.

No battery issues. No security issues. All is good.

My ethos is to walk the walk, not to parrot the same old rubbish as the teenagers here who seem to have nothing better to do than pester the adults with their constant demands for "upgrades".

Can't you just follow the instruction given in the main post -> https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/dumpling/install
Otherwise you could probably use adb to push the file to your device and then install it.

Been away from modding, custom roms, etc. I'm coming from LOS18.1, I have a work profile running. Best way to take a backup of the whole system, in case anything goes wrong while getting to LOS20.0?

I used to use TWRP but at one point I had an issue with restoring a backup, which forced me to setup everything on phone from scratch, so I did and stopped tinkering with it as I needed it for work. What's the go-to way nowadays?

Signal isn't needed for WiFi calling, right? I recently moved house and have terrible signal now, but WiFi calling generally works great. However, it _only_ works if there's at least a tiny bit of signal. If there's no signal (exclamation mark over the signal indicator), then I just get an error telling me that there's no signal. I wouldn't have expected that.

This is with Google's Phone app. Anyone else seen this?
