Hello,
lineage-20.0-20230118-nightly-lake-signed.zip can not be installed even by sideload !!!

To Magisk: turn on Zygisk, configure deny list. Mark the banking apps. Force deny list. With me funtionierts.

Other problem since last update: App updates are available, but does not connect and can not be turned off. All GCams tested for Moto G7+ hang and are unusable!

for the first issue i think we must wait the next update and try to install it, banking apps works without problems

I'm totally up to date on my phone but I use twrp not lake recovery. Maybe that's the difference. I always do a 'dirty' install and tick the box for 'reflash twrp after rom install'. Because I've had bootloops in the past with gapps, I always reinstall gapps (flamegapps) before rebooting into the new install.
I did my own build for the most recent install but as I use exactly the same manifests as the official build I don't see how my own build can make a difference.

just use lineage recovery and MTG, it works just fine.

The default/stock Motorola Camera is too buggy to be usable; instantly crashed after taking a picture, after that it worked but is slow/laggy and the pictures have lower quality then it did on Lineage 19.1.
The front camera is completely broken for me, is stutters and freezes every second and outright fails to take pictures (which is not important to me but I think that is the reason why an app that requires facial recognition fails to verify my identity.
I installed the OpenCamera from the PlayStore, enabled Camera2 API and it works fine, including the front cam.

System reset, everything deleted. Lineage-20.0-20230124-nightly-lake-signed.zip complete new installation including MTG, Magisk and for me important apps installed. Now the default camera hangs and the newer GCams also. Open Camera hangs too ! Have now installed Hypercam-Raizen-Legend-A11 and works. Had the predecessor already on LOS 19, also gave no props.
Is an offshoot of GoogleCamera_6.1, but for me important that it works. Otherwise everything runs great. Thanks to the developers !!!

As far as I can see, I don't think MTG is as configurable as flamegapps. I use flamegapps basic and exclude most of the google bloat. I really only want playstore.

I also confirm the same problem with previous nightly release, never installer. But everything is ok with latest nightly release.

camera works better than early builds, not perfect but usable

I have to admit I haven't detected any issues with the camera since los 17.1 to the latest los 20. I don't use it much and when I do it's point and click but I usually test each time since seeing the reports in this thread.

It gets worse from update to update. No camera works ! Standard camera from the beginning not. But now it's like they're starting up and they're either freezing right away,
or trigger them but do not take a picture. After system reboot it works for two - three shots, then they freeze again. I would like to go back to LOT 19.1. How do I do this ??
Can someone give me a tip? Have no access to Fastboot flash since LOT 20.

all works fine.

On my device at least, following the instructions to the letter, with the latest update, the Camera is a bit less bugged but it still crashes, resets and freezes. Specially the front one. It stills prevents an app that requires facial verification, such as MercadoPago (the PayPay of South America) to completely and utterly fail the facial verification process.
I formatted/wiped, installed Lineage 19.1 and the facial verification process on MercadoPago worked flawlessly the first try.

If I can provide a log to help the debug process, let me know.

In the attached pictures you can see, the frist one it crashed and the second it completely froze when re-launching it.

The only way to go back is to reboot to recovery, format/wipe and install 19.1 from scratch.

I never use the selfie camera so I checked it and yes, it didn't work. Or at least it was jerky and slow and froze every so often.
It makes no difference to me but I can see where it would be frustrating for some people

I just tried it and I can reboot into the bootloader with no issues, from there you can boot into TWRP and format/wipe.

Neither do I, but is the only login method for this banking/paying app.
The back camera is also not working correctly; try taking more then 3 pictures, check if are all saved and not blank/black, try switching modes, try switching to the front and then back into the main camera...

What are you talking about?

We don't touch boot loader, you can install just fine - what is your error?

And yeah, just use Lineage Recovery - its not complicated
