[OFFICIAL] LineageOS 20 for the Nokia 6.1 (2018)/6.1 Plus

I'm sure this is an old issue even other devices with Los - the loss of usb host capability including otg and devices.
So I did a clean flash install and confirmed - yep still no support of both usb otg and usb dac.
Using 20230503 nightly for pl2, doesn't work. Unless "otg" means something different than I expected.
Usb drives attached to a uSb hub, cx31933 and alc5686 type c dacs aren't even beiNg detected as attached. Basically LOS20 on the pl2 has missing (still since 18) usb host support.
Same devices work fine on my other devices.
lineage-20.0-20230509-nightly-PL2-signed.zip installed, up and running... so far 'as usual" everything seems great.

For me, it works as expected with mouse, keyboard, jabra heaset and various USB storages, with a no name A to C adapter.
I have a basic DAC (C to jack adapter, USB vid 31b2 pid 0010), works fine too.
No hub though, one device at a time.
So far the new update seems fine, except the finger print scanner seems to be very edgy, most of the time it doesnt work at all.
I have removed finger prints, which requires a restart between each one, i have set new F-prints, which works a couple of times then it goes back to failing, its almost exactly the same as three or four updates back, when it affected more devices.
Of course it could be that my finger prints are not as consistent as they used to be, work, chemicals, old age????

I changed the fingers that I use on f-print sensor and it seems much better.

So if I understand well, the default PL2 behaviour would be not to send power to USB? Since for me it's been fine, maybe it is a side-effect of something else, app, etc.
Anyway, I rely on plugging stuff to my devices, so I feel concerned. And in case it happens to me, how do you change that USB power option?
I tested on clean flashed los20 0505 and 0523, and also clean flashed 17.1 (since afaik usb host worked for me then) - even 17.1 now doesn't work. So can't say its another app etc that's at fault.
You're device when pluggEd in gets a notification, click that to get other usb options. That page will hAve power options at the bottom.
So far once active, it doesn't seem able to deactivated again.
No clue.Thanks for the work done for my old Nokia 6.1, It has a nice life starting from Android 8 to Android 13. Thank you very much for the durability of my smartphone. Small question, will there be a version with Android 14? Thanks again

Don’t panic when links in the OP don’t work, and your Updater app says something like “Can’t connect to server”. It is planned outage.

- Firmware is shipped in the ROM package for this device, so no need to worry about updating it on your own!
43Hello @npjohnson, sorry to bother you and to mention it again, I just updated the device from LineageOS 19.1 to LineageOS 20 (both official versions), the FM Radio application was kept in the system without any problem and it works correctly, although if I make a backup of the same native application and reinstall it (the application stops working in its entirety, same result in LineageOS 19.1).
-The application that was changed was the native camera, which still has problems with the flash in photography, this is corrected with the third-party camera application footej camera 2 HD.
-I have to congratulate you because you can see the increase in the overall performance of the device so far, thank you very much for continuing to bring this 2018 device to life3So what is everyone using for the camera on this rom? I'm having the common issue where I can only take a few pics before the shutter stops responding, and the phone needs to be restarted before I can take any more pics.
