Contacts show up twice in contact list. How do I remove one set. ?
Duplicate names, 1 contact number and 1 Whatsapp ! ( when i uninstalled whatsapp, contacts did not show up twice)
I have tried google merge contacts, ended up as no contacts required merging.
Is any facing this issue? Any possible fix?

For me, it worked to press menu in the contact app, then the option "contacts to display" should appear as the second one

It works in contacts app. But fails when i try to call from the default dialer app, duplicates are still shown up (only for whatsapp contacts).

Hi, this rom is working superb and I want to thank the OP for this. That said, I'm having problems with Xposed. The first time I flashed this rom and installed this rom, everything worked with xposed, no boot problems. But then I flashed the new MIUI, didn't like it, and came back to Lollipop, and now everytime I flash xposed my phone just hangs in the bootscreen! I tried reflashing the rom, download + format, but nothing seens to work. Can someone help me? I really like using gravitybox and other modules!

Thanks, but already tried that! I flashed wiko base, from smokerman, then flashed LP with firmware upgrade, but I still get boot stuck if I flash xposed.

Thats the matter. Use original from wiko site to flash the global kk rom and than lp. Than the tut point for point to get xposed work on lp.

As my phone is a BLU model, i flashed it's original firmware, booted, even updated with OTA, and then reflashed Lollipop and xposed. Still no luck, Im about to give up.

I have done these flashing many times but this time I am unable to install Xposed, did u get yours done? Need help ASAP

There are other tools in playstore like "duplicate contact finder" or "contact+ merger". You might want to try them. Do you use more then 1 google account on the phone?

Might have to do with the "temporary recovery"-issue, this ROM seems to suffer from. Tryed to rename the prob as adviced before somewhere here in the thread?

The trick of replacing the system.img works well sms receiving bug is fixed and gives 1.72gb of available memory but there is one problem in it, that is when we select in the cellular network, mode 3g instead of auto2g/3g it doesn't catch the 3g network but in the auto mode it does catch the 3g network is there any solution for it, what about the rom on smokerman's blog it says sms bug fixed, is that the same one like the trick on system.img is replaced in veer's rom?

The "SMS Bug" is in 99.99999% of all occourances just the result of wrong IMEIs and bad NVRAMs... People just got bored to keep answering on that again and again.... Fix your IMEI (with mtk engeneer mod or chamelophone) and NVRam and stop complaining...

What exact steps did you follow to get sms working and whose rom you downloaded veer or maxisman??? ...

Fix IMEIs, fix NVRAM. Primarily the IMEIs.

Vodafon Germany works fine, after fixing IMEI Issues.

hi, i am using 1 google account (sync is on for contacts, gmail, etc) 1 whatsapp account.
google contact has around 500 contacts synced and whatsapp is around 300.
Only those 300 are duplicating while searching on dialer.

Note : There is no duplicates when searched through other apps like truecaller. Even tried through google contacts web version to find for duplicates. Nothing was required to be merged. I do not see any duplicate issues when on other ROMs.

No App Drawer button

A few weeks ago Wiko Indonesia released stock Android Lollipop rom for our device however, it was inteded at 8gb variant leaving folks with 4gb variant with just 400mb free at first boot, but not anymore

The original size of stock rom was around 2gb (thanks to absolute preloaded garbage) which is now reduced to 700mb .I present to you Debloated stock rom with 1.85 gigs of storage at first boot. Rememeber its stock rom so it doesnt have any bugs!



Instalation instructions:
1-back up your data.
2- Use SP Flasher tools to flash this rom.

• Download and unzip the package , Open SPFLASHTOOL EXE and Load the Scatter file ( Click Scatter Loading)
• Switch off your device
• Connect your device and Click DOWNLOAD "button" on top ( not the tab) , If it ask click "yes"

3- Recovery [email protected] is already included in the pakage.
