Bad news - Stupid M8 Eye is only an India/China release

Good news - android 5.0 IS CALLED LOLLIPOP! I'm so ****ing glad they didn't make it a long and whack name like Lemon Meringue Pie or something

ATRIX .. STILL?

LOL we both desperately need an upgrade. Nexus 6? ;)

How do you need an upgrade? Didn't you just recently upgrade from your galaxy nexus?

Hi,
I have a Nexus 4 and I am extremely excited about Android Lollipop.
I already have the ported dumps from the Nexus 6 on my phone and it's absolutely awesome.

Everytime i turn my phone on it makes fun to play with it

The power button on my Nexus 5 got jammed before. I had to get a replacement. Has this happened to anyone here?

As I see, Nexus is becoming less and less popular. Yup, I jumped the ship too. Too much of half-assness from Google imho, even with software, both quality and update speed.

So you are upset because there aren't AOSP updates every 2 weeks like iOS and because of OEM build quality (which changes going from Samsung to LG to Moto)?

Who said I'm upset? I just looked around, found a better product and took my money there.

Fine, I'll expand. Google has been crap with updates. That was their selling point. Even some OEMs beat Google to it. Hardware quality, well, I could live with that for the money it was going for. All the issues in updates, like memory leak in LP. OEMs tend to patch it. 5.0.2 update on Nexus 7 kills poor thing literally, talking from experience and research on the Web.

My point is that if you do not approve of update speed, ANY other Android phone will get updates even less often. And as for build quality, who do you think is better? Certainly not Samsung... HTC Maybe?

Which better product did you find?

I expanded a bit above.

I have Xperia Z3 and everything, literally everything is better than any Nexus product I owned (Got it after selling N5 to buy N6, which I found disappointing and skipped, to keep as an interim phone till next gen is out (S6, M9, G4). As good as they are, they are not worth the upgrade from Z3) . GPS accuracy, reception, battery life, screen, speakers, build. Slower updates, yup, but Nexus is not immediate anymore either. And tbh, we are at the point where new versions are not a big deal, you can quite happily keep using KK without any affect on performance an UX, but Google gives us a new version that is full of serious bugs and are VERY slow at fixing it.
