OK, I had Global version with Global 10.0.1.0 ROM. I unlocked BL after 30 days, installed TWRP 3.2.3 from this forum and then flashed Magisk v.17. to obtain root access. On the other hand, as I later never had the need to boot to TWRP again, it is also possible that the custom TWRP really was overwritten, I can check out later can I actually boot into TWRP from system.

Have the same global version.. installed TWRP with no problem. installed magisk and after reboot i got bootloop (did try about 10 times and with no luck).

1) Install the TWRP app from the Play Store or grab the apk from our website
2) Open the app, agree to the terms, and enable root access
3) Select TWRP Flash
4) Search for your device and select the version you wish to download
5) Once the download is complete, select the file (it's usually in your downloads folder) and then Flash Recovery
OR:
1) Download the latest version from our website on your device
2) Reboot to TWRP
3) Hit Install and tap the "Images..." button in the lower right
4) Browse to the location of the TWRP image on your device and select it
5) Select recovery from the partition list and swipe to flash
OR:
You can find more information and download links on our website

My QUESTIONS:

1. Installing the twrp allows me to enable root access?
2. In reference to the 2nd method, How do I reboot to twrp if I don't have it installed?
3. Does this phone already come with the bootloader already unlocked?

Thank you

Can not install the global Rom by TWRP coming from another Rom, did someone get it ??
Example came from the Chinese ROM MIUI 10 or the weekly xiaomi.eu I try to install by TWRP a global ROM of MIUI 10 and there is no way to start the system.
Previous Wipes, data, cache, etc in addition to a format data.

From China or custom rom to global you need to flash the fastboot rom.

In agreement. Once ROM Global is installed by fastboot, then the TWRP recovery is flashed, then would it be possible to install the Global ROM updates by the TWRP? With the Zip of the rom.
Some experience in this case.

Or we continue with the theme that in the global ROM for this phone can not be installed by the TWRP?

Hey mierlo, I've gone from China rom to latest Pie xiaomi.eu rom and couldn't be happier.
Why use the global beta instead of xiaomi.eu, I'm just curious if I'm missing something.

I have better battery with official rom and i use the adb fastboot tool from Saki-EU on Github, that only works with official rom.
